I know I'm a bit late on this But I think if Warnock isn't fit then we either need to change formation to suit our players, or play Pugh there which sounds scary in itself although he won't have as much defensive responsibilities. I don't think you can say "we should be beating Yeovil by more than 2 goals". Every single game that we play in the championship season is somewhat of a scrap and you can't be going into any game expecting to get the result, you need to fight for it. We don't have the right to be beating any team imo. McCormack has scored 8 in competitions and for this stage of the season I think thats a decent total, he could've had a couple more but he isn't the only one who has missed chances and I don't think you can expect any player to score every chance they get. I don't think we do need to have a striker banging in 25 goals a season. How many promoted teams have had a striker that has done that in previous years? The answer is very few, if we are getting the goals, it really doesn't matter where they are coming from.
Considering Yeovil beat Forrest in their last game who are my tip for promotion this year I think a wins a win tbh
Would we have settled for a lucky or scrambled one nil win against Huddersfield. Of course we would. Three points is three points, regardless of how we get them
