Its not just the goals, last season he was taking far too long on the ball and kept passing straight to opposition players.

It hasn't suddenly happened this season though, he improved massively when we went on that great run after losing at WHL

  3. Not leaning back surely comes under quality or ability rather than luck or confidence?

I don't believe you can put the difference between the two down to just confidence. Ramsey is currently a better player IMO

he knocked in a couple last year to show he can do it. he's blazed it over at least once in each fot he last few games and actually 2 or three times lately per game. knock a couple in early on and he could be on 5/6 goals now. the one v arsenal was a sitter he panicked on.

I'll back henderson and say ramsey is no batter on pure ability.

    anyway... lets talk about cissohko.

I said he was not impressing me at all last week and i was told he was good. after that shocker he's still not impressing me. In fact he was so bad he reminded me of that game enrique put in that i gave 4/10 for and got villified.

What do people think of it?

I thought rodgers at least did the right thing hauling him off.

  9. I'm not impressed at all. He does appear to know how to defend, his attacking play is poor and his decision making is somewhat questionable too. Early days so I'll give him time but he doesn't have much since he's only here on loan.

I was glad that Rodgers at least changed it at half time, most managers are subborn and stick with a game plan when it clearly isn't working.

Cissohko just doesn't seem good enough I'll be glad if he improves but at least we can just send him back to Valencia if he doesn't.

Enricky is a good full back, maybe not great but he'll do a job week after week, with Bertrand probably being available I'd go for him and have a young full back who is capable of pushing for Enrickys job.

Cissokho was our worst player - very disappointing in every aspect.

He looked very tired - I guess he's still trying to get back up to full fitness. We must remember that he's new to the team, the style, teammates, new country and plus he was injured not too long ago.

On form - he's better than Enrique. Let's hope he can regain that form from Porto and Lyon. But I suspect Rodgers will be looking at left backs - Moreno from Sevilla would be a good shout.

  12. Really? I know Enrique was a bit out of form but Cissokho isn't fit to lave Jose's boots from what I've seen!

I thought Arsenal deserved to win but we could have scored a couple with the chances we had so I don't think we got pasted like some people were saying. I thought Sakho had another good game and is really looking very good and improving every game, on the other side a few of our players didn't play well, I thought Gerrard, Lucas and Cissokho were the three worst and all I can say about Cissokho is thank god that was only a loan deal and can we please cut it short.

Cissokho on form is definitely a better player than Enrique. Granted, his time at LFC has not helped him but the man was a key player for Lyon and Porto. Better defender and better attacker.

Problem is - they're both similar to one another. Powerful, strong etc. Lack intelligence and can lose concentration.

  15. Torres used to be a better player than Sturridge is now, it doesn't mean I'd prefer him in our side <ok>

I think if Gerrard were 3 to 5 years younger he would have had that spark still to turn around our defecit in midfield.

We're desperately in need of the "next Gerrard"... he's still a valuable member of the squad but I agree with comments above he's not what he was.

Not sure what is up with Lucas... he had a long run of slowly improving seasons... and now he's back to making goofy errors.

eh.... nah.... give enrique a small bit of credit. he's been injured.

Cissohko looks distinctly average on the ball... I did cut him some slack for fitness as he was out injured but that shouldn't make you look that way. for me they way he tried to chase back for the corss to carzolra was fitness. how he couldn't control the ball was hmmm not impressed.

I don't see it. i really don't enrique for me when both are fit is a better player.

Either way - I suspect Rodgers will be looking at more technical and intelligent left back in January.

January will be an interesting window <ok>

you may well be right but i fancy he'll do it in the summer. cissohko is cheap so its all down to what he wants to do. the midfield is more important. we need 2 top midfielders to progress.

When Enrique comes back we will have less to worry about in that position. Cissoko is only around until the summer... we can get someone better then.

Right now we need to find Stevie's heir. A good box to box midfielder who can control a game and knows how to give a manky DJ a good punch in the face.
