it was an amazing incident, as someone who works in the medical profession, the doctor and physio really should have demanded that he went off, if he had some sort of bleed or worse in his head and collapsed, they would have been found negligent. really poor stuff from a professional point of view
No regard for the wellbeing of his player or any acknowledgment of the seriousness of the incident. Of course Lloris would have wanted to stay on, he'd have likely been out of the next league game and could have lost his place to Friedel. Not going to take that risk in a World Cup year.
