    Absolute.

But, there's rationale and history behind us getting a point at WBA, stealing a point at home to Liverpool/Utd.

Plus, we still need the indemnity of doing **** versus the **** teams - which is bound to happen at some point.

We need a fit Aluko back. His injury status after just 10 games is a big concern.

I would agree that we need firepower, Sagbo has impressed me when he has started, prossy, McLean and Fryatt need to be moved on. Yesterday's game was frustrated by the lack of pace and attack. Another three points is good though.

He did suffer a pretty horrific challenge from Barry.

If it is Ajax where we are looking for a striker then I can only think of De Jong and Sigporsson - both of which I would put as out of our reach as things stand. Granted it might not be a striker we are looking at

Cos we kept knocking it high into the box.

It would have been better demanding that Boyd and Elmo stop knocking those high balls in- O'Shea won every cross.

I wanted Prozzy on with the amount of crosses we kept putting in.

Don't think its a MUST win but it is clearly a game we will be targeting as one to win. The PL is too unpredictable to label games "Must win" at this stage IMO

Sagbo will score goals for us when he gets used to the English game. Yesterday's goal would have been his if the defender hadn't got his head to it.
Gedo looked like an instinctive goal scorer (when fit) last season and that's a rare breed.
Aluko we know has always got a goal in him.

SB needs to give these 3 as much game time as possible (preferably together) and I think with the addition of one more in Jan we'll have enough to keep us up.

Gedo's better at winning and more likely to score a header than Prozzy for me.

Agree...Gedo is better at getting open and more aggressive on cross balls than Proschwitz. With Sunderland down to 9 and no attacking threat we could have even put Faye on in a forward position to get on that endless stream of high balls in the box. He would have given O'Shea a hard time.

That's actually a great shout. In the last 10 mins he'd have added extra defensive security too, as a set piece was one of their likeliest way of scoring. Although may be a bit of a kick in the teeth for our already-low-in-confidence recognised strikers.

I nearly fell off my chair tbh, never expected that. Think you have a point. However, i thought Prozzy did ok. He chased, he looked for the ball, he came deep, he challenged the keeper, yes he missed that rebound which I think he should have done better with, but he was in the right position which was positive, he won a corner and lastly if Elmo had fired in a couple of better crosses, Prozzy was in some decent positions in the box.

I know this led to humour but I think it might have legs. He's got two mates here, he knows he'll be in the team and with a decent striker we would be much further up the table. Bruce commands respect and can bring in the big names. Defoe has watched us play approx 240 mins against them and you couldn't get a rizla between the teams. Of course Allam will have to dig very deep. Maybe a loan?
