Ryan will be a fantastic jockey for Ballydoyle and it does look in the making. I think if Joseph wins the classic he will probably end the career there! <laugh>

Wooly - I know the races he has won I just wonder long term for Juddmonte is he the right choice ?? Personally I would have offered the retainer to Ryan first then will Buick as by far and best the best top jocks - hope too be proved wrong but can't see it myself ?? Time will tell - come on Wise Dan and DoW for a good night and extra pocket money for my 8 yo haha !

I see your point! But I think the future will be bright for him Ryan is waiting for the Ballydoyle job and Buick wont leave the Gosden yard! But as you say time will tell! I am just on Wise Dan myself! the classic , you can make a thing for 3 or 4 of them wouldnt suprise me to see Ryan win it on Plantuer but good luck buddy!

Forgive my ignorance, I've had some wine(!) but is the classic really at 12.35?!! The bleeding mile race was at 11.40 was it not?!!

That's a long time Chan and to think people suggest we overhype Cheltenham! Speaking of which, this money for Declaration of War must be 'hype' money though like that So You Think creature people were creaming their pants over a couple of seasons ago?! I'd have chanced him at 7s but 4-1 looks very skinny to me...

    Get in Wise Dan.

I've already got my bet down on Declaration Of War so I'll leave it at that and just enjoy the race now.

Hope he wins it and rounds off a top effort from what originally looked a limited European assault!

Fantastic race by Declaration Of War, who handled the surface quite beautifully. I wonder if Ryan Moore would have squeezed an extra half length out of him? We'll never know.
