A fairly comprehensive list of managers currently out of work, plus teams they've been linked with. Some are quite hysterical, but hey, let's not shoot the messenger Rene Meulensteen is linked with NCFC but I'm not sure by who? Apologies for starting a new thread but I figured it would get lost on the match day thread, etc. http://www.thesackrace.com/job-centre
Johan Cruyff might?? That would be a serious name, and if he can manage like he played, would be outstanding.
Not you ya mug I wonder if he would he even remotely consider Norwich? He's been with Ajax and Barcelona, although he does appear to have fallen from grace in recent times.
The relative lack of decent replacements makes me wonder whether the best solution, if a change is made, would be to appoint a strong assistant manager in to work alongside Hoots and provide the 'motivation' element. I genuinely think Hughton has made some very astute signings and assembled a cracking squad that for whatever reason simply is 'clicking' as it should. Its that which makes me wonder whether, if we got in the likes of a Stuart Pearce type assistant to Hoots, whether that could be the solution to the issue if it's decided a change is needed. I guess very much like the Martin O'Neill Roy Keane good cop bad cop partnering for Republic of Ireland.
Attracted by the enticing prospect of East Anglia's Champions League Football...the Norwich vs. Ipswich derby trumps RM vs. Barca
Thats the last thing we need, I can imagine the present back up staff being very much like that. Its why our football remains so basic and headless.
I do agree with that! Stuart Pearce no thanks! Carrabuh any favourites for the manager position? If CH leaves
My picks, any of the first three would be a huge success 1) Roberto Di Matteo 2) Roberto Martinez 3) Avram Grant 4) Gianfranco Zola 4) Nigel Atkins

I assume you don't really think Martinez or Di Matteo would come here! Not sure Id want any of them, maybe Zola if pushed
