Messiah Brown formerly YWNBK but he does go to nearly every home game as far as I know and to be honest Ross does blow very hot and cold.

 

Him and Rudy stole us 3 points yesterday.
If Yeovil had been any good at all we could have been three down by half time. The entire team blows between tepid and cold. We were luke warm against brum when we spanked them.

MCD is getting this team to over achieve IMO.

P.s I go to every home game and about half of the away ones.

 

And some wonder why I seem so pessimistic at times and smile when fans suggest we are good enough for a top 6 and I read comments like we have the 'quality' required.

I enjoy reading your assessments on the performances as well as Messiah Browns, you are usually quite near to one another when commenting on how we played good or bad so a surprise that you differ so much on Ross. I can't answer for the other guy but I would imagine he wanted him dropped to give him a kick up the backside and I think he actually said dropped based on his performance against Huddersfield.

Personally I wouldn't drop Ross because I see him a mile ahead of Smith, Hunt and Varney - Ross may blow hot and cold but Hunt and Varney go between luke warm and freezing.

 

Even a frozen Ross is better than Varney. Hunt and Smith need to be given time before being written off, but Hunt appears a poor player here for one last pay day. I am staggered by the improvement in Rudy and if this is all down to getting a pre season then Warnock did at least bring in one piece of quality.

 

Maybe that and the Captains arm band.

Smith is good to have a different option but I reckon Blackstock is the better chance of being the striker we need. Still I reckon Smith will still get a few goals this season
