Exactly, I want him back as a fan with a new contract. If I'm TF, I don't offer him a contract as its to much of a risk as you never know how he will come back.
Looks like the abundance of midfielders people were complaining about could be a shrewd move eh Harold.
It does make sense having more midfielders (ratio wise) when you think about it, as they generally cover the most ground and have the highest work rate in any team and are therefore more susceptible to injuries and niggles.
Hes very lucky it happened to midfielders, if it happened to the forwards to defence we would literally now have no one to play.
We have had injuries to all positions and, as I see it, HR has done his best to bring in cover for those injured. Ned got injured, Redknapp signed the Gooch. AJ was crooked, in came Chav. After a while, the relentless nitpicking becomes less and less justified.
I really hope it isn't too...........just as he seemed to be returning to his best form! Gutted for him.
