All we can do is look for silver lining, well here goes

    Palace lost
    Norwich lost
    Fulham lost
    Villa and West Ham drew
Cardiff have Swansea to play next.

As for us, its a huge positive that our goals against column didn't take a huge hammering.

We'll beat City and be just one point from safety :-D

all this 40 points needed is bollock I reckon, there's some dreadful teams. I'd be surprised if we need 35. but that's a challenge within itself.

its typical of safc though isnt it ,get a fine moral ,points winning game over then as always, crash bang ,history repeating its self with catts ,what length learning curve does he need ffs.
THE FIRST TIME A GOOD SQUAD IS ALL AVAILABLE AND WHAT HAPPENS WE DROP DOWN TWO PLAYERS FOR SELECTION BECAUSE OF BANS, wes brown looks as if hes back though,

Further positives, with Cattermole and Dossena out our best two footballers should come back into the team. Ki and Giaccherini

The real fans care which is all that matter. We both have a bunch of fans that appear out of nowhere for the derby.

I was cringing last week debating with some Newcastle "fans" whos knowledge of there own to team ws so poor I expecting them to think Bellamy and Shearer would be playing up front with Dyer on the right

Like the one who thought they'd had the same badge for over a hundred years and needed Sunderland fans to put him right? <whistle>

The crazy thing is that we probably will beat Citeh (fingers crossed). After many years of supporting this club I have learnt one thing about Sunderland and that is they never fail to surprise.
