After he took the job he publicly stated that he had watched numerous Sunderland games so he must have had an idea of players strengths and weaknesses. I support GUS but I am afraid that we don't have much time that's if its not too late now? . If he sticks with the dross that's what they will deliver. As they have this season, last season and the previous one IMO.

 

Does the same go for pushing a linesman?

But he'd not seen a single one of them train. Watching on the telly is never going to prepare a new manager in a million years. I know we don't have time but the blame for that does not lie with Poyet, he's a human being not a miracle worker. Christ, Bally has been here for years and years and still picked them. Were just not good enough lads. Simple as that. We have time, there are lots of games left and 3 wins in a row would put us back in a safe position.

Proud of the 9 men, red cards were a disgrace but no digrace in losing to an own goal and 9 men, gus will have learnt alot today, some big hearts out there in that second half

I'm proud of some of the players who could've taken a point from, what I have to say, is a very poor side.

And I'm proud of the way the supporters outsang the home support.

For ****s sake man it's the team that ****ed up. Two got sent off. They're more to blame for the loss than a winger missing a chance.

 

Would Gerrard or Rooney or Cabaye been sent off for Cattermoles red?? I highly doubt it! Not saying it wasn't but I watched cabaye go over the top of the ball and take Colback at the knee last week and get a yellow card. Jus sayin

 

Really proud of that 2nd half. Ref ruined it by sending Catts off but Dossena tackle was cowardly and horrendous. We played so well with 9 and poyet can take lots of credit for his tactics there. Deserved a draw today IMO. Didn't get it, No big deal, move on to next game.

Catts shouldn't be giving any excuses for ref's to send him off, simple as that. I haven't seen it but I gather he went in aggressively?

We are in the poo poo,however all the other teams around us cocked up so it's still tight at the bottom.
Poyet has the chance now to play giacc,ki,mavrias etc as the two idiots who got sent off will not be back for three games.

 

My first reaction on Catts challenge was red. Like you say though with some players it would of been yellow. Dossena's was a red card every day of the year and to do that when you have just seen a team mate sent off for less???
The nine who played the second half deserve allot of credit and very nearly nicked a point.
