Result is terms of points is what we expected, but the score is dreadful and the performance... We have been third best in a game with two teams.

Fair point haven't rated Bassong or Martin as captains so far.

It can't all be CH fault. Players have to take a large chunk of the responsibility for bad performances. Its a team game.

Right now the players need to show that they are playing for the manager. If we keep it to 4-1 or 4-2, that would show that they are fighting.

I personally would not dismiss him following a thumping today, but I would not be surprised if it happened to be honest.

I think so if it reaches 6 or more, which I could definitely see happening.

I'm going to give him another two games, I'm struggling to come up with a suitable replacement though.

If we don't beat West Ham Hughton has to go. This is the first time I've said this, but then I did give him 10 games

    But HE buys the players
    HE picks the players
HE is supposed to motivate the team !!
Which part of these isn't his fault ????

I don't think Hughton can be held entirely responsible for this and Tuesday's games because of the injuries and the players being so bad and something HAS got to change, I think a loss against West Ham would be the end of Hughton; it doesn't matter how unlucky you are if you lose your home games big change is needed.

On the positives: Fulham, Palarse and Sunderland all look crap. Stoke and Cardiff should also be there or there abouts. #clutchingatstraws

Yes- who are they looking to on the field to galvanise them? I can't see the body language. Even Rusty in his pre-match interview looked like a man resigned to his fate. I'm no psychologist, but a great deal of sport is in the effing head. A leader on the pitch gives the team someone to follow and play their hearts out for. Hughton "You won't meet a nicer man in football" on the sidelines is not going to put the fear in the captain which then transcends to the players. OK, we've had two OGs against us today, but we have no bite. A wounded team at least looks dangerous?

The players are good. In my opinion, we now have a squad which is better than several of the squads around us. Not quite sure why it is going wrong. But it is, big time. We are going down, no doubt about it, if we stay with what we have now.

    From the beeb

Wigan too, who are in front against Huddersfield - Leon Barnett on the scoresheet. How Norwich could do with him today!

We should not be needing Leon Barnett, Holt he'll yes we need a leader out there!

    Bah!
