All about opinions & there's no point in changing a winning team but I'd drop Larsson, Altidore & Bardsley. Hopefully Gus will learn in time. There's no creativity in this team so I'm expecting some Bardsley long balls to Altidore, hopefully borini will pick up his poor first touch like he did last week.

Disagree with it but Poyet is the manager so

Personally thought Johnson played well against the scum and Borini is more of an impact sub...

Also statistics show Johnson has been our most creative player this season...could be catastrophic today

4-3-3 away from home, and plenty of attacking threat on the bench if necessary.

I like the formation, if not all of the starting 11.

    Come on the lads!

Still think lots of our best players are on the bench! Brown, Ki, Giaccherini for starters. Johnson unlucky but if Borini's on a high then fair enough. I think a mid 3 with Ki in there with a striker sacrificed would have been more suitable for today. But... I thought the same last week! Trust Gus.

I think he wants affective fresh options in the latter part of the game. Our 2nd half performances have been our problem all season. Dangerous bench mate that helps to deal with a problem area.

Yeah great to look at our bench and see that quality. Just a bit worried about the pitch! Tbf I thought Larsson was good last week.

Gus has just said 3 strikers. Width can only come from full backs then, with 3 CM for protection. Hope he's right!

The idea with seb I think is that instead of being a proper winger, he tucks in a bit more to help out the central midfield. Borini will be the out ball on the left with jozy and fletch just doing their thing up front.

like I was saying on the match thread. Borini can play out wide, I expect 442 switching to 424 in a direct counter attacking game.

What the hell is Roberge dropped for, he is better than the half wits we have for defenders.

Well I said there was something "Di Canio esque" about the team selection and the performance Clattermole and Doffena certainly perpetuated the air of madness.

The spirit of PDC will be out at the AoL tonight wailing "no discipline, no discipline" and of course he was right.

Now here's me thinking that Dossena never played under PDC and that Catts had a dodgy disciplinary record years before Paolo was hired.
