He might have some sleepless nights if Nicholls and Jeremy Scott both have a good horse in a race (e.g. when Melodic Rendezvous runs). Pleased for Scholfield though, a good jockey and decent bloke.

Odd entry from George Baker for Mendacious Harpy. I have this one in my tracker after someone on here pointed me in the direction of her first run. She hasn't really shown anything in three starts since in C4 and C6 company. Why would George then try it in a listed race?

Christ that Pipe horse has been backed off the boards in the 2.45 Juvenile Hurdle at Wetherby - Ainsi Fideles in from 9/2 to 7/4 against some very decent looking animals in the best juvenile hurdle of the season thus far

Sam Twiston Davies riding the big ones for Nicholls at Wetherby. Interesting jockey booking even with Daryl Jacob being banned and Schofield riding a few in Ireland.

Jeff i also have Mendacious Harpy in my tracker too. Perhaps the slower ground is the key for the horse? Im not going to miss it at a price of 100/1 though :emoticon-0112-wonde

Very impressive performance from Sea Defence. The runner up Think ahead both went miles clear of the others so a couple to keep on the good side of i reckon.

An early marker for the Albert Bartlett perhaps? He cruised that there and looked a fairly decent pace to match.

It was impressive Tward like you say set a strong pace and managed to keep galloping strongly. Needs to jump better though

Very taking performance from Carraig Mor there at Wetherby absolutely romped home. Looks like King has a gem on his hands there.

I must get used to these winter race times - only just back from the top table and I've had 2 winners :)

Beef stew, "thick cut" chips and a side salad <ok>
