A) I wished 'em luck; B) I asked that they make clear the opposition to the name-change; C) No-one yet knows what Allam's going to say. That is going to come out at the meeting. Hopefully.
I think it's an excellent opportunity for all concerned. Looking at the comments they've made so far, I feel we've got the right people in there pitching for us. They've shown respect and an ability to express themselves clearly. The reps are going in blind to a degree, but I think as long as there's a genuine desire for both sides to listen and discuss, there's a possibility of moving forward. I'll be very surprised if it's resolved today, but it should help make the positions clearer. Good luck to the reps, and thanks for your efforts.
Thanks gents. This morning I got confirmation that there will be twelve representatives of various City supporter groups(OSC, HCSS, CTWD x3, Tigerlink, Tigerchat, Amber Nectar, CI, not606, Tigers Co-op and the Ulltras as far as I'm aware), along with Assem Allam and Ash Lord. There will be introductions, then we'll all have the opportunity to speak, but that's all there is by way of an agenda. I'll summarise all the comments on the 'Meeting' thread and I'll take them with me.
Genuinely, good luck today. Remember, very few other owners of other clubs would do what Dr A is doing today, so you have a privileged opportunity.
That's a fair point. At the risk of repeating myself, I do feel the reps are going in showing a good dose of respect for Mr Allam.
Yes, good luck to all involved but please tread carefully, I'm passionate about the name but a great deal more passionate about still having a club to support.
Ish. The Allams announced the name would be changed, then later arranged this 'consultation' exercise. The only way the consultation isn't bullshit is if Dr. Allam sees sense and changes his mind. Otherwise it's a PR exercise not a consultation.

There's been some talk of hanging around after the meeting to prepare a formal statement on behalf of all the fans groups before we leave, but I'll post my thoughts on here anyway.
Cheers I just hope you don't all come out of the meeting scratching your heads. Mr Allam can sometimes talk in riddles....
