Cant see it, we are not good enough to consider it a possible giant killing ITV have already announced Bishop's Stortford v Northampton Town is one giving both clubs £67,500 & a further 18k to the winners
Grimsby v Scunthorpe would be a good bet for TV - although the hosts are non-league, it is a Humberside derby.
I've not seen the price for this game advertised anywhere yet but having looked at an online ticket purchase, they are coming up as £15 for my normal location in the Medway Stand for an adult.
Just taken this from twitter, I've seen nothing from our club site but maybe i missed it... Brackley Town FC ‏@BrackleyTownFC 16h Confirmed ticket prices for Gillingham FA Cup Match: Adults - £15 Concessions - £10 Under 12's - £5
1st round televised games...http://www.thenonleaguefootballpape...9/shortwood-united-selected-for-cup-coverage/
No nothing on OS although our prices have to be the same as the opposition, fa cup rules i seem to remember. My usual seat was in the online basket this morning so just purhcased that way...but bad advertising none the less. COYG Edit - On site now http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/article/cup-prices-confirmed-1146138.aspx
not good pricing considering ( without being disrespectful ) the quality of the opposition, will be surprised if the crowd is over 3000
I think its pretty reasonable actually, for adults its a £5 adult reduction in most sections and £9 off in other areas of the ground. It wont effect the away numbers, its what they paid on Tuesday night for the replay. Under 18's can go for a fiver & you wont get better than that anywhere in the 1st round of the FA CUP
harryheadbutt - I agree it appears to be the general price for the 1st round, i noted yesterday the Posh were charging exactly the same for their home tie against Exeter and as you rightly pointed out, the previous Barrow v Brackley game was also the same price. Although I personally would have preferred a tenner, that is a general football discussion to be had, rather than just a GFC one.
admittedly any reduction on usual matchday prices are to be welcomed but i dont see those prices attracting the fairweather fans to come and maybe to be convinced to come again
Wot wiv Lee and Legge suspended and Linganzi maybe unfit, will we see 2/3 yooves on the bench, and maybe even get on the pitch ? Who would you like to see get a chance ??
OTiC - Charlie Lee is available for the FA Cup on Saturday. I picked up a tweet from the official twitter page this morning confirming. Although I am currently unaware of the situation with Linganzi. Gillingham FC ‏@TheGillsFC 13h We just want to clarify that @charlielee06 IS available for the #FACup game against @BrackleyTownFC on Saturday. He is not suspended. #Gills
Brackley are giving their fans a special package including coach travel to the game, a match ticket, and a commemorative 1st team shirt with the date and Gillls v Brackley Town printed on it. Prices are: £55 adults, £50 concessions, and £35 for under 18's Nice touch for their big day
