    As in he gets picked regardless of the fact there is Anita sitting on the bench giving us (in my opinion) a better option. If we are working on the assumption thay we normally play with a 3 first choice should currently be cabs tiote and anita. I think sissoko is capable but not playing well enough of late.

    Tha fact Pardew only looks comfortable using 4-4-2 is the problem. When he tries 4-3-3 we just look like a poor copy of someone else's formation. Plus on reputation, which is Pards' main selection criteria, we always revert to another formation when we don't have the striker to play it. You can see Negredo - that's a player - but he's worth £30m. As are most like him. Plus we're a muddy town in the North of the country, 3,000 miles from London.

    Haidara and Dummett are much much better left backs than Santon. He wasn't a left back when we signed him so this is not surprising. They would never have given such a wimpy pathetic derby display. Use Santon wide if at all.

    Tiote, Anita, Cabaye must play as a 3.

    Debuchy doing well again.

    We have obvious problems in the striker and wide areas. Unfortunately there are no solutions available within the squad bar maybe trying Santon. Gouf is just ok, HBA never turns up, Obertan has a massive head, Sammy is an Ameobi. How do we get to here after having the likes of Solano, Ginola, Robert - depressing.

    A natural striker of the required quality is basically the soultion. Playing 4-3-3 is basically a non starter if you dont have someone to spearhead that effectivly. I would love Negredo he is class. As it is we have come out passing well again but with Kenan & Kel up front we are never going to put it in the back of the net.
