I heard on twitter that Varney and McDermott had fallen out, and just read the Sheff U link on football rumours (which IU know should be taken with a pinch of salt. It just sounds believable

Also, clubs need homegrown players to meet their quota ... Prem clubs pay silly money for POTENTIAL so £5m for Mowatt is not unrealistic, especially if he keeps up his outstanding performances thus far. Remember, when we were in Lge One Chelsea were ordered to pay £5m for two of our totally untried 16 year olds (Taiwo and Ginger), that's the precedent thats been set.
