Murphy will be good the trouble is we expect too much to soon lets take Spurs £30m buy LLamala hes not producing but I bet he hasn't had the criticism poor Murphys getting it makes a change from LIW slagging Smith .I will stick my neck out and state Smith will play for Scotland unless Strachan listens to the detractors who know nothing .

    Where my £50 pal

And smith won't ever play for Scotland

And for you to say smith is best header of a ball since Charles, you must be blind

For his size smith is poor in air, hardly jumps of the ground and got a 50p head like duberry, ball goes anyway

Yes he's going to score header just because he's miles taller than everyone else, doesn't mean he's a good header of the ball

I can see why some line lees... He looks like a decent player for the most part, but and it's a big but, he keeps on making howlers. They don't always cost us but as a centre half they often do. Whether its concentration? pressure? Who knows, but it's a dreadful trait in a centre half. He would be my last choice centre half of those we have available until he shows he's learnt.

That's not impossible, Hanson did it for example, but more often than not they don't, because not many managers can afford to persevere with them.

We all know he can, what am saying he hasn't

    Agree or disagree

And i agree he will improve, but to a level that's good enough to win promotion, I doubt very much

Smith looked sharp and up for it against Hudders and won every header.

I am starting to lose patience with Lees

I would drop Lees for Peltier tbh

I think a lot of the time he doesn't need to jump.Wins most headers any way.Honestly think he could be another Lee Chapman.Hope so any way.

Feel a bit sorry for pelts. Did alright as a centre back, gets moved to full back while Byram's out, gets replaced now Byram's back and doesn't have a place. He wasn't great last season, being played all over the shop, but hasn't done much wrong this year. He'd be ahead if lees for me too.

Whoa ... easy lads ... here's my take ... Murphy ran the midfield against Brum, showed some super touches and made some awesome passes, the lad has talent, he's new to this level and just needs a team around him playing with confidence, he will come good ... Lees is going to improve and be a solid CB for years to come, he is still a baby and needs experience next to him not kids all looking around for guidance when things go wrong, MZ will provide this ... McD is slowly putting the jigsaw together, we have some good young 'uns who need leaders around them, things are looking fine, just don't panic

    Glory

    He's 23, played over 200 games and is ****

He's got no pace, weak and is possibly the worst player I've seen on the ball

    And makes plenty of mistakes

Now explain how suddenly he turns into a good defender

Lees has reached his potential, he won't improve. Gets bullied by opposition, can't control the ball, poor distribution, no pace.
5th choice CB behind Pearce, Wootton, Zaliukas and Peltier.
