For the likes of Wickham and Ji.

Languish in the reserves, (why do i still call it the reserves?) for eternity, well until their careers are almost over, and then a trip down to the conference awaits them.

Neither are ever going to make it at the SOL, so may as well pack up their old kit bags and hitch a ride to elsewhere.

Wickham needed a season long loan months ago. Couldn't care less about Ji, palm him off on loan till january then try and sell him.

If Whickham can't get a start under 4 different managers , he just isn't good enough. Simple as that.

I'm a big believer in coaching and the staff we have now seem more than capable.

If these players are being played in 'reserve' matches and specially arranged games then they're being considered.

The kid at West Ham, who Man Utd chucked away, is a good example of the right environment so hopefully we might get summat out of these fringe players.

I always thought Wickham had something. He's a big lad and reasonably quick for his build.

If 3/4 managers don't want to play him, then no one will (not here anyway). Therefore I'd loan him to the Championship ASAP, see if he scores some goals and gets a bit confidence in him. Then see where we are.

It may be he's just a kid who's happy picking up his £20/30 grand a week. If so - ship him out.

As for Ji, couldn't care less. I know he did alright in Germany, but whenever he's on the field for us, he looks like he's never played football in his life.

After seeing Ji shy away from the ball at Palace I hope he doesn't play for us again. It wasn't even drilled, it was floated.

He looked like a wasp had just stung his eye. ****ing dick.

....Would he have scored Fletch`s goal....would he have learned from his mistake?

Easy. Ravel Morrison was a reserve at United with barely a first team appearance to his name and asking for stupid wages to sign a new deal apparently. When I get round to reading Fergie's book I'll probably know a bit more about this but by all accounts he was a player with a lot of potential and that was all. You're bang on the money though, he was moving in the wrong circles in Manchester and needed to leave for the good of his development. Hilariously, your friends up the road deemed him only worth £500k and wouldn't stump up the £1m that The Hammers were prepared to pay for him. If he keeps going the way he is, he'll be a £10-15m player in the next year or so I reckon. We always wanted to keep him but I've no doubts at all that he's better off where he is like you say.

For the OP...your two strikers, not seen an awful lot of either to say they'll be good or bad but I don't see a good enough reason for keeping either whilst selling Fraizer Campbell, I think Poyet would have liked him to work with in his squad, although as a starting pairing I reckon the two that started on Sunday looked like they could work well as a pair, assuming you don't go for a 4-5-1 system further down the line, in a 4-4-2 they linked up well with Altidore putting in a lot of graft, can you see Ji or Wickham doing the same legwork as the Yank Tank?
