There's some fun banter on Twitter today asking what else in the world has been 'Pardewed'.
The description as far I can make out is that if something is Pardewed... it started off good, with potential and has been transformed into a shadow of it's former self... a common example being Sissoko.

So what else in the world do you think has been Pardewed?

I'd say that Walkers crisps have been Pardewed as they have a lot less in now than back in the day so are therefore poorer value for money.

I'd say Toon tops have been Pardewed too as they are more expensive and cheaper feeling.

Yes, one manager got his tactics spot on that day, one manager played into the others hands for 41 minutes.

Hang on I said he got it right which he did I also said Rodgers got it wrong that day, wouldn't want Rodgers out if I was a Liverpool fan <doh>. But then people would want Pardew as manager if we were **** and heading for another relegation battle.

    Two things spring to mind:

    Guinness.
Once a great bottled beer and rarely sold from the pump (who can remember the old square pump lying forgotten at the end of the bar?) and now they have become victims of their financial success by selling fizzed up nitro black stuff which doesn't taste the same.

    Land Rover
The Series II was a great vehicle. Now the Freelander (or known as the Gaylander on the Land Rover forums) is very Barbie and Ken and is very much likely to catch fire, not start, not stop or just be the four wheeled equivilent of the Morris Marina.

Look no further than Brown Ale, it used to have the date marked on the label with pin pricks, if the date showed the bottle was over two weeks old it was supposed to be poured down the drain. That was when it was called lunatic broth.

    Supposedly the regions best seller.

I will nominate Brown Ale myself for the simple reason that it went downhill when the brewery moved.

Can't remember the reason it moved, probably a botch up by the Council.

Did you manage to get a ticket for down the road? A bit of a let down.
