I'm proud of the team and the way they fought hard from opening whistle to the final one.

Sounds like our squad is actually a lot better than most of us thought.

Well done to all who took part today, even if they were ultimately denied a hard earned point!

Have to say I've always thought we've got decent depth tbh. The likes of Quinn and Meyler were brilliant at Champ level and will do us a job at this level.

Davies - The man is a rock - indestructable
Thudd - Far and away the best MF on the field. How did Spurs let him get away??
Sagbo - Really impressive. Best performance by a striker we've had in ages..and playing alone up front too.

Honorable mention to all the back four esp Figgy. Did a masterful job on Townsend.

Brilliant team effort. Unlucky two weeks in a row on Ref calls.

    1. Huddlestone
    2. Davies
    3. Foster

Definitely the hardest game to pick the best three so far. My third vote could have gone to any of - Meyler, McShane, Figueroa, Boyd, Sagbo, Bruce or Rosenior.
That only leaves Elmo and I'm afraid we're not getting enough down the right from him.
Overall, a really impressive team performance that deserved a point from a top four or five outfit.

Great effort from the guys and perhaps our squad has a little more depth than we thought.
I am a little surprised that Harper got little or no mention from any of you as he struck me as being in total control of his area, A couple of brilliant saves and his distribution was above average (imo).
Fig, The Hudd and Davies in any order for me with Harper an honourable mention.

    Who?

His kicking was poor but I agree that he seemed to have everything in his area completely under control.

McShane for me, summed up the spirit of the team, closely followed by Meyler and Huddlestone, but very difficult as they were all awesome. I feel drained this morning so the players must feel a lot worse.
