Personally thought these 3 all played well today.

First up Colback. Kept everything simple and had a touch of scholes about him as everytime he received the ball pit his foot on it and turned direction to give himself a yard of space in a crowded midfield. Put his foot in won the ball and played it simple. Long term however I dont think he fits in to a 4 4 2. As he doesn't offer a threat going forward and isnt as good as cattermole at breaking up play. He could work very well in a five man midfield with soneone like giaccherini in there to provide the flair just depends what way poyet wants to go with us and he is still our best left back.

Johnson did well for me got early balls into the box and created the first goal. If Fletcher was a bit more match fit he would have gotvon the end of another one of johnsons early crosses and we would have been 2 up early doors. Again though for me he is better on the right where he can go either way. The goal proved he can cross with his roght foot but for me he cant shoot with it and he doesn't have the confidence in it to shoot right footed either. On the right he can use his trickery to get half a yard and shoot with his left or dink one in with his right. He doesn't have the pace to get to the byeline on the left so is resorting to early crosses which he put a few decent onesvin today, but for me long term he is right midfield or nowhere.

Altidore todat showed he can be a handful and while he wont score loads him and fletcher showed they could work very well and this is a partnership I would like to see given 6-7 games in a row to see what they can do. This may mean giaccherini is on the bench or on the wing where he isnt as effective.

On a sife note cuellar and oshea never put a foot wrong so fair play to the old boys. Also whyvon gods earth did Larsoson let Fletcher take that free kick on the edge of the box? Obe thigs for sure though he wont get another one

    Oh yeah and ****ING GERRIN!!!!!!!

The lack of Giac was a big surprise, not even thrown on as a sub. He's been terrific this season and i love the little guy, i would have put him on instead if borini but what do i know ;)

hopefully will see him be involved next week at some point.

Altidore did a lot today, hopefully with some more training he'll start banging them in. Really like Jozy me.

Glad to see you mentioned O'Shea and Cuellar, credit where its due, they were alright today

Colback MoM, Altidore poor, AJ had a good game especially first half, Carlos C also had a poor game Dossena (sp) seems a genuine LB who does overlap, tired at the end.

I can't knock a single performance. Nobody set the world light apart from Borini's strike and Jacks performance but the heart and workrate was unbelievable in every single one of them. With Jack and Catts in midfield we've got a couple of tigers looking after us. Love to see ki slotted in front of them

This! But I'd also like to see Johnson get past his marker more often.

This! And make use of the overlap option once in a while. Worked his balls off though, Never seen AJ so committed to his defensive duties.
