They certainly did. Our mid field fanny around far too much and allow teams to get back into position and we are woeful to long balls out of defence putting us under immediate pressure as we can't defend.

Where else can a strggling club that can't buy a win for love nor money come to end that wretched streak be they Derby or the unwashed. Relegation fodder teams just can't wait to play us.

****ing useless ****s, they never get the result you'd expect. It's always pulling off unlikely results against the better teams then following up with defeats to **** ones. I bet this kickstarts SAFC's season now.

When it was 1-1 we looked pretty dominant. What undid us was a complete lack of cutting edge upfront and some tactical nous. They scored a great goal against the run of the play. I'm sure anyone would agree with that. We could have got at least a point and got **** all. Pardew should have shored up the midfield as you could see Tiote making mistakes as he was knackered. Cabaye played in a half arse manner and Sissoko poor. Why are we even bringing on the Ameobi brothers and Anita stays on the bench when he could have aided Tiote in midfield and we then get a draw?

I think it's difficult to blame Pardew for defenders who frankly stopped playing. Borini's goal was a case of "go on then we dare you to score" and they gave him so much space it was scary.

If it sails into the stands then we'd be saying Pardew sorted them out at halftime to get a deserved point. To be fair we did look like the ones most likely to win at 1-1, totally agree but that counts for nowt if you don't capitalise...

Whereas I don't think Pards is completely at fault and hamstrung by his options, he is going to have to start playing Anita ahead of Sissoko. He wouldn't be anywhere my starting line up. He is woeful. I can't believe how much he deceived us in his first couple of games. We are really paying for not signing a much needed striker. To have Cisse and Shola sitting there must be soul destroying for a manager.

Shola's first touch was the nearest we came to scoring.

    Agree here.
The Mackems have 3 points because we simply weren't up to it today.
We can bitch about lucky goals etc... but at around the 20 mins mark the team looked a bit disjointed for me.
This should provide a spur to accumulate more points.
For the Mackems.. let them enjoy their 3 points, deserved?... well that' debatable but it's 3 points nonetheless.
    We'll have our day.... again.
