Hope no one minds but figured I'd start the thread. I have had one bet today and that's Lovcen in the third at Aintree. Five pounds lower than he was in this race last season. Even bigger swing in Wrights with Ely brown who beat him by 8 lengths. Yet Ely brown is 9/4 and Lovcen is 6s. I think there's close to a stone swing. I'm also not sure Lovcen was right last season and I'm aware Longsdon is in good form but so is King. Good luck with your bets
You've got to get on yesterday afternoon to get 4/1 Simmo. I put it up on yesterday's thread after I'd bet it.
Breezed up Kirby hardly had to move I backed it on the basis that it was a king horse at wolves sounds bit odd lol
Good shout simmo, Lovcen goes really well around Aintree and should be in the shake-up today. Aiden O'Brien sends out his impressive Clonmel hurdle winner Carriganog in the 2.50 at Wexford today. That win at Clonmel was enough to get J.P. McManus reaching for his cheque book and Carriganog runs in the famous green and gold hoops for the first time today. Over at Galway, the Gigginstown Stud should be among the winners with Very Wood (1.25) and Shrapnel (3.35) looking to hold outstanding chances. I was particularly impressed by Shrapnel on his chasing debut - he looked beaten after a slowish jump at the last but Davy Russell got a terrific response from him up the run-in and he collared Barry Geraghty on Usa in the shadow of the post. Over at Wincanton, King's Lodge looked like a horse going places when bolting up on his seasonal debut at Fontwell and he can defy a 9lbs rise to score again here (the corks will be popping in Chuckle Towers if he can win for old boy Ponsonby and the forum's favourite trainer). Despite carrying top weight, Highland Lodge can continue Emma Lavelle's fine form by taking the Desert Orchid Silver Cup. The Flemensfirth gelding has won on seasonal debut for the last 2 seasons and conditions should be ideal for him today. At Aintree Alan King sends out an interesting juvenile in the opener, the Simon Munir owned Memberof, whilst in the 3.15 Uncle Jimmy should give a good account having finished a very close second behind Kangaroo Court on his seasonal reappearance. Best of luck everyone
2.20 Coole River - Lavelle horses in much better form than when seen last term. A repeat of return run from last year will see him go close. 7/1 very fair
We're definitely getting close to Sue Smith's time of the year - she usually starts banging in the winners late October / early November time.
No, not confident. I won my money yesterday on Sticks Magnifique thing. Today's just little singles and a small double for interest.
As statex yesterday. ELY BROWN is going novice chasing. He is in this race today to qualify for the Pertemps in case he doesn't taje to fences. Charlie Deutsch is on to get him a good weight. He will be trying to win as the yard is only interested in having winners, not plots like some we could mention.
Morning All, Wexford 1.10 Horendus Hulabaloo 5/2 Irish point winner last spring now with Mouse Morris. 2nd in that point won next time out and think it will go well today. Galway 1.25 Blow The Doors Off This race looks a fight out between this one and Very Wood. Blow The Doors Off won a nice bumber at Sligo that has thrown up a few subsequent winners and fancy him to turn over the favourite. Aintree 3.50 Hellorboston 4/1 Going against the Longsdon horse ( they can't all win can they?) with this one. Good 2nd in Ayr bumper and looks a good one for hurdles this year.
Good morning all, not been on for a while....internet problems in Mozambique/Tanzania and been having a betting sabatical while home on leave and watching you guys clean up!!! Stick in red hot form as per....with a whole host of others banging the winners in. Good stuff chaps, keep up the good work as the betting boots are back on!!! In Norway at the mo, and our lovely Noggy friends have filtered out anything to do with "gambling" etc on their server....cheers lads!! But where there's a will there's a way, and managing to get on the "Sporting Life" and "Skybet" (horrible bookmakers), so able to have a dabble!! Like three today....all singles: Hawk Eye. 1.00 Ain. Hemmings likes a winner at one of his local tracks, and like this nags staying flat form. My Mate Vinnie. 1.30 Ain. Looks a bet at 4/1 Araku Valley. 2.50 Wex. Might give the O'Brien nag something to think about now the penny has dropped. good luck chaps...stay windy!!!!
Morning all, Lovcen at Aintree 2.05 for me. Cracking novice form and things went astray last year. I read a piece on Alan King's website a little while back where he said they'd found a problem with him last year (liver ailment). If he's back to the form of his novice days he should win this. Irish raider Moon Dice Aintree 3.15 catches my eye too. Former Galway hurdle winner and AP in the saddle suggests to me connections are expecting a big run. 4s and 7s respectively will do for me. Good luck all.
Morning all, Nice to see the winners flowing in at the moment from all you knowledgable people on here. I look in everyday and but don't post much cos I couldn't pick a winner even in a two horse race. Today I would probably have a lucky 15 on mccoys first 4 but I think away from racing today a possible way of doubling your money would be to back Borrussia Monchengladbach who are at home today. So far unbeaten at home and scoring plenty of goals, they also beat Dortmund in the last home game. 11/10 against Frankfurt I'm on large. Good luck all and keep the winners coming.
