Fair enough Lee, you may think the players had a case, but this is in the past.

Sunderland supporters are sick to ****ing death of seeing whinging players in the papers.

Just concentrate on training, tactics and actually playing football ........... ****, shouldn't have said that, look what happened to the last bloke!

Seriously, do we really need this on the eve of a derby, these players just won't shut up and do their talking on the pitch.

Someone at the club needs to get a grip and stop this continual whinging from Sunderland players.

look at it another way........................the press always want a "controversial" story in the run up to a big game, it sells papers and creates interest in the match. Always has done. So they maybe take one remark and make a big story out of it, or mostly they just make it up. This is more about journos making a living than whinging players.

There's a few paragraphs of quotations in their fella.

Catts has shown a real lack of class and the fact he's preoccupied with this a day before the Derby doesn't bode well.

The Telegraph is not renowned for digging up ****e like you would get from The mail or The Sun, so I would imagine that this is probably correct...
As has already been said, I wish they would just do the bloody talking on the pitch!..They should be too ashamed to even talk to the press at present..

Like I've said on other posts my concern is the dressing room is split. If that is the case we will lose tomorrow and relegation will follow.

Hope I'm wrong but I think we need rid of the old guard and yet another 6-7 signings again next season.

Let's hope that Gus has the strength and know how to sort this out if it's true...That will be the true test of his managerial credentials..

    Erm?
    PDC did play Cattermole.
I do find his initial freezing out odd.
Was PDC following some agenda by someone at the club?
Catts does say he felt badly treated by the CLUB, as well.

I agree about shut up and do it on the pitch.
Even if Catts is one of the only ones doing just that,

See, I read that Fletcher was brought back exactly the same way infact they were training together until catts was pulled off by Ball with an injury setback in an u21 game. Training on their own with PDC's fitness coach, then with the u21 for ball work. Fletch never muttered a word of complaint.

is this the same Catts who likes smashing cars up in Newcastle? the same Catts that was banned from Yarm?

If the players put in a poor performance tomorrow there will be plenty of supporters letting him and his team mates know exactly what we think of them.

sincerely hope it does not come to that.

Wish these players would just shut up

They have done nothing to justify their actions that lead to Paolo getting the boot.

The players have had their say which is only fair as they have been outrageously condemned for the season so far, the majority of you seem to be condemning the players for our plight because if the signs of disharmony they were trying to be explained to PDC then maybe he should have listened, after all he was still playing 5 years ago so could have related to what any manager could get wrong. The Villa game was a classic example of players in wrong positions.

One thing that stood out for me at the WBA game was that Anelka and the RW had targeted the space around Colback as the place to build attacks and Giacco was in animated conversation with PDC who appeared not to want him to track back too deep to counteract. If Giacco was involved in the bustup following that game then it could have been over that.

I'm pretty sure that I read something in one if the blog sites about this week's ago. It wasn't done recently I'm certain. But the big boys press release it now because we have a big game to try to cause problems. Same as all the **** with England. They sit On a story fir 6 months until it puts a bad light On a good situation (England) because they're all a bunch of ****s
