As the title say's really, I'm getting married next year.

The purpose of this thread is bascially for some ideas. My wife to be has given me permission to include Swansea in our big day. Do you guys have any idea's on how I can include the Swans?

So far, I have decided on naming the tables after Swans players/legends. In each place, there will be a miniture Swans kit, but replacing the Swans player with the guest that is sat there. On the entrance to the room, I am having a large Swans shirt, with little shirts inside said large shirt, with the Swans player/legend on top and each guest written slightly smaller underneath.

I have also ordered a cake top consiting of two Swans, and I am hoping to have a large Swan ice sculpture on entering the venue.

Any other idea's you may have, please feel free to add them. Nothing tacky though please. I am a die hard Swans, hence why I want my big day to have them included.

ALso enquiring about having a blessing at the Liberty after the honeymoon.

    Thanks in advance chaps.

Now do not take this the wrong way and let me say i am not taking the p*ss in any way, now considering our convos the other day re season tickets, why not pick a home game of your choice arrange with the club to propose in the centre circle at half time or even get kevin johns to announce it over the pa, you get a ticket from the club and you involve our great club

What do ya think of that suggestion

Why not get the men swansea key rings as favours? I gave wales keyrings away on my wedding and they went down really well.

    Good luck

LOL. It's a wedding not a football match. Are you sure your wife-to-be agrees?

Northbank - Cheers for that idea pal, have been enquiring and looking good.

Cracker - I was thinking more along the lines of Scotty. Maybe that way I could get Helen Flanagan to tag along and give us boys a show lol.

Our reception is already booked. Were having the big day and reception at Lake Vrwnwy - Therefore can't hold it anywhere else now. That's why northbank suggested having a blessing after the honeymoon, on the Liberty pitch.

Mabon - Great idea that mate. I could re-propose. I actually proposed on top of a large local dam (Elan Valley) when my uncles went over in his 4 seater plane with a banner in tow. To do it in front of a home crowd would take some nerve lol.

Bangok - As long as it isn't over the top, she sgrees. Since we've dated (5 years) she's become a huge Swans fan after supporting Man Utd most of her years. Obviousley our big day isn't going to get taken over by Swansea, but just some sort of inclusion by means of what I'm already doing.

How about the Bride to be being driven to the liberty in a white horse drawn carriage in the shape of a Swan driven by Cyril and the ceremony taking place on the centre spot at half time whilst Roberto Martinez sings an emotional "Swansea till I Die". Brings a tear to my eye at just the thought of it but that's the romantic in me.
Brendon Rogers bobble heads would be a nice favour.

The bride all in white and the groom all in black would be a great start.

One of the tables should be called "The North Bank" for the more mature lads who would have stood there, while the youngsters should be in "The East Stand". The cake will, of course be a "Double Decker".

    PGF - Love it.

Aber - I think we are either going to Mauritius (Spelling), or South Africa where I can fullfil my life long ambition to swim with Great white sharks.
