The article is wrong just as the press said there was trouble involving Newcastle and Sunderland supporters.

The truth was that Newcastle jumped around, set fires and only managed one punch all day ......... we just stood there laughing at you <laugh>

Ahh of course! The article is wrong! Cos Sunderland fans are so upstanding they would never do anything like that. My mistake

Are you a 12 year old Girl? "sooooooo" and constant use of the doh smiley because you lack the communication skills to get your point across, suggest yes.

I've tried to make light of the topic - because unless you are a sensitive toon fan you have to see the ridiculosness (sic) of the whole situation. Of course the knob deserved time. He was causing an affray - inciting violence? Or is it an everyday occurance to smack horses in Gallowgate?

Sentence is hard but if he got off with a slap on the wrist, would the next nutter take a stanley knife to a horse?

Anyway. Its something to laugh at on the SAFC board. You don't have to come on.

Who's said we're angels like? Fact, you make the media much more than we do for fan disorder. Opinion, it's because you have a greater number of fans with a petulant attitude to defeat.

Not many can deny that we have a disproportionate number of idiots compared to other teams, recent arrest tables prove that.

You are arguing with me by quoting the worst paper in the world, bar none, for telling lies.

Well done daft lad you win.

    The Daily Fail FFS!

That burn looks awfully like the dye that comes out of smoke bombs though.
    But hey I'm biased.

Lets break it down so some of these nags can understand the sentence.

    Assault on a police officer.
    Cruelty to an animal.
    Trying to conceal his identity.
    Taking part in a riot.
Encouraging more disorder to fellow rioters by stepping forward from the group to commit a crime.
    Public disorder.

All taken into consideration in sentencing. Why

Simple, his initial plea was not guilty which gives the prosecution an open invitation to probe the above under the scrutiny of the judge and in turn guaranteeing a more severe sentence.

    Boom!

So where does your assertion of smoke bomb come from then mate? To be fair, as you'll see in subsequent posts I was laughing at that story as much as the next guy, not trying to use it against you lot at all. Anyways, I don't like you much for your attitude to a 15 year old being hospitalised in an unprovoked attack, something that left him with mental scars for at least a few years, he was in his 20's before he went into the town again....so I'll leave my discussion with you there <ok>
But of course mate haha, I try my best to avoid derby day banter now, I've never been more confident of an NUFC win than I was at SJP last year/

Having used both flares and smoke bombs, I find flares have nasty burny flames coming out of the end at quite some force.
Where as smoke bombs I have held in my hand whilst walking round building sites to stick my arm up some drainpipe or other. <ok>

I'm not defending the idiot who threw it or denying that it hit the disabled lad, just the difference a flare makes.
And if the disabled lad was "targeted" with the smoke bomb I have to say that was one hell of an accurate throw.

As for your whining on about your assault when younger, just shows the difference between me and you.
As at 15 if anyone gave me a dig no matter who or how old or big, they would have had to hospitalise me to stop me fighting back.
Even then I probably wouldn't have bothered the police. <ok>
But then I'm not the pussy you sound like. <ok>

Fully deserved, poor Bud the horse.

This guy is an embarrassment to mankind but more so the Mags!

Wasnt there some kind of plan to get him out before the next derby at the SOL? If Bud makes an appearance on Sunday it would be great.

What idiots like Durham Stag don't understand is the the Newcastle supporter wasn't charged with 'punching a police horse'.

He was charged with violent disorder which he admitted.

Just like others, of his brethren, he was jailed today when found guilty of that offence.

It's not simply to do with clouting a horse ....... that was just part of the violent disorder he was involved in.
