If Cardiff City get beat @ Norwich on saturday and with the fixtures they have coming up in Nov/Dec then i fear for them. How long will it be before owner Vincent Tan decides to put his son in charge of team affairs ? Then son and best mate have there very own play thing.

I don't know if anyone else heard the big London Love-in on five live before Palace played Fulham, but the Palace owner was spouting off about how Holloway was the right man for the job and how he was determined to support him.
Steve (I'll suck it if it's Southern) Claridge was kissing his arse none-stop and going on about how loyal their fans are to Holloway. All typically nauseating BBC stuff really and now proven to be a load of ****.

yet the "snobbish metropolitan media" didn't have a hand in his quitting, did they?

It will probably have been mutual consent

I don't think the media get bored of characters like Holloway, Di Canio or Mourinho, it affords them quips, quotes and crisp headlines..

    Correct.

The media don't actually hire/fire people.......

Glad we've got that cleared up.

The media love Holloway because he can create a story just because everything he says is 'different' from the norm, unlike most managers.

In reality, he's a whinging ****. Glad he's gone, but also annoyed because it would be nice to see him fail at Palace for longer.

There aren't many West Country accents in football let alone ones who voice picturesque phrases........

Jock, Scouse, Geordie, Cockney and Manc are the accepted football media accents.

There int many from outside these areas.

That Poyet article is funny - particularly the bit about conceding so many goals late on in games. Their fans were all excited in the summer about how super fit they would be under Di Canio (they sometimes started training at 9 during pre-season you know!) and how they'd outscore teams late on in games with their massive stamina levels.

Thinking about it they're always wrong are Sunderland fans, like this time last year when they kept telling us we'd have sacked Bruce by Christmas and soon understand how **** he is once he gets us into the Championship relegation zone.

I wonder whether Poyet will give Vito a chance? Statistically, Westwood has been the worst keeper so far this season.

He's also been Sunderland's player of the season.

he has to, so he can go on Slumberlands boards too.
no one goes on LESSta's boards so he needs human contact from somewhere.

There's a pic on Facebook with a wooden chip fork & the phrase,"even my chippy fork has more points than Sunderland."
    Made me laugh!
