Also nice to see the Swans are the most "Welsh" team in the Premier League with 3 players.

Not suprisingly though, we are the most "Spanish" team too, with 8.

    Nice find that ITI

You may have the most English players, but Saints hold the future of English football.:)

    Khal!
It would be quite useful to our small nation if all the English clubs were now to reciprocate by playing more Welshmen as a trade off.

If you look at the european invasion, it tells us the number of Premier League players from each world region.
England have 129 players and the United Kingdom have 36, last time I looked England ws part of the UK, unless there has been a referendum, that nobody has told me about, and England has left the UK.

Maybe we should think twice now before chanting 'Same old English, always cheating!' Always felt that was a little embarrassing.

When i hear Welsh supporters chanting anti English songs, it does make me cringe, it also makes me wonder whether those fans actually know where the players representing thier teams come from. I can remember Spencer Prior getting a right shirty on when a few of our lot whistled during a minutes silence when the Queen Mother died. At the time i thought they were disgusting individuals and so did 99.999% of the crowd.

The anti-English chants are more often than not equalled by the sheep chants and for many it's just harmless banter. I think having made great strides this Welsh club has now been taken to the hearts of many English supporters. <ok>

Why post this nonsense? Clear off unless you can contribute a decent comment.

It's not my fault, a small minority see the figures from the police forces and it sort of sticks in their minds. So when Cardiff come around to their place they make a note to their friends that Cardiff had a lot of arrests and banning orders and from their it spreads for a few days up until match day.

It's a stigma brought on by a very tiny minority but gossip of this kind gets blown out of proportion by football fans in pubs and offices etc.

****ing hell you need to stop watching the football factory and green street.

Cardiff will never be angels but we have gone a long way to banishing this hooligan tag.
