Don't.Give.A.Shiney.****e..... Other than he has the audacity to mention Stevie G in the same breath as Carrick. One is captain of his country and has 100 caps..and the other is complete bollocks. ( for bravado read class!)
Btw... always knew fergie liked to bully referees... only just read about what he did to Preston. When his son got the sack there he immediately withdrew three loan signings from there... requested Tony Pulis do the same and asked his friends at other teams to boycott loaning players to Preston... result being that PNE lost 5 players overnight who had been first team regulars because fergie was mad at them. Great manager but complete asshole.
More contradictions than an FA 'independent' report. You could almost believe they had the same author...
The Henderson bit is sort of interesting. Is that why Man Utd didn't make a move for him when they were being linked with him for ages? Did the medical department at Man Utd warn them off buying him? He does have a weird style of running so I'd love to hear what a proper medical expert has to say about that comment.
Yeah, because you haven't read it. Just like the rest of you. Oh and Dave, a has been? Who retired at the very top having just won yet another league title and is now a director of one of the world's biggest football club. I'd hate to think what you describe yourself as then.
Play this for your kids just in case that might read anything about Fungus The Bogeyman:
I describe myself as retied thank you. Sir Bob did far more in a far shorter period of time. Factually Ferguson is a has been - his time has been and gone.
Oh, yes, btw Fergie thanks for reminding us about owen Hargreaves. Another in the long line of United midfielders that were going to be better than Gerrard. Talking of which - see the little dig about 'outside influences' (ie gangsters) that apparently stopped Gerrard moving to United? This story MAY have legs re the Chelsea failed moves in 04 and 05 (though Gerrard said in his autobiography the only pressure not to move was from his family and his father, in particular), but United? Before, during and after his paddy fits of those two seasons he made it abundantly clear that the one team he'd never play for was United. Nothing to do with gangsters Sir Alchy, just a Scouse Liverpool fan, like Torres would never have joined Real or Keane joined Rangers.
All this said..... at the risk of being lynched on this board, we ARE eight players short of the title. world class -Gerrard, Suarez (for now), Studge, perhaps Coutinho? Goodish players: Johnson, Agger, Toure(?), Skrtyl, Lucas, Mingolet, maybe. Okay squad players: Henderson, Enrique, er...... the rest are either too new to judge (Sakho) or developing (Sterling, Ibe). So on this point, ferguson is, gulp...... right?
Now now. He WAS a great manager. He DID win loads of trophies. But what is it our manc friends say? Oh yeah, he's nothing but HISTORY. MOYES IS YOUR PRESENT & FUTURE!
He is right about a lot of things DD but it's presented by the looks of it in the same classless manner of every other drunk utterance out of his mouth.
I don't get the comments about Rodgers?! Rodgers has had a long career in coaching at every level including managing in the Premier League. He also managed in the 2nd tier and for Chelsea reserves (which at the time was probably as good as most Premier League sides). To pick him at at 39 when he already has that experience is a fantastic move imo How old was Fergie when he took over at Aberdeen?? 37 Fergie doesn't like Liverpool & Liverpool doesn't like fergie. This is obviously masturbation material for the red side of Manchester. Something to keep them happy while their side flounder around joint 10th in the table a 5th of the way through the season
