Chevanton would be my choice to do that Johnson would on be on if we need a second forward sub.

Johnson puts in effort most times I have seen him play and doesn't let any defence settle ... I watched him today and he was sharp

He is a QPR player so why wish him to get injured ... His record is poor but we have a league to win

He has been unlucky with his body IMO

This I probably agree with. I would certainly like to see more of Ernesto; he looked useful and eager to impress in the 30 seconds* that we saw of him a few weeks back.

    (*exaggerated for effect)

Hope you're wrong but fear you may be right. I had a car like that once.

Both AJ and Chevanton looked good today. HR will be happy to have another striker available.
Agree with DT, AJ was looking good before his injury and will be welcomed back.

Problem almost solved ..................... If only we could get him game time on a Segway?????????
He'd probably turn alot quicker now and won't have tired legs ........... It's all positive!

Hmm playing two strikers, personally I won't change our formation and don't think you can drop Austin (good idea drop the top score!). I do think AJ could do a job on the right side of the 3 behind but otherwise it would be a brave man to drop Charlie at the moment.

Do you think charlie will be up for it saturday against his old club? maybe harry might think they will be after him & also now his game plan, i would play charlie but if he's not making any head way after about an hour or so then i would take him off.

Unfortunately, some players are just like that, very unlucky with injuries, no indictment on the effort the player puts in.

Some just cant seem to have long periods of being injury-free.

Fair point Jeff, all really depends on the individual whether they think they have a point to prove and how the old team feel about him. I'd sub any-one who being effective.

He should be a professional, and just play the game, whatever the history, he had with his opponents.

I look forward to Austin not celebrating three times out of respect for the Burnley fans.

    Agreed.
As much as we would all like to just snag it by a goal, I think we are overdue to giving an opposition a good slap up.
4-0 to us would hit the spot, nicely. ( hope I don't sound too cocky but we ARE overdue such a result.)
Hey, if all the other top teams can achieve this, surely we are up to it.

I think a number of you have mentioned that this game has the opportunity to be a season defining moment for us.
