    All but confirmed

My opinion is that this deal was probably all but settled in january. Give it a "let him get us promoted, then you can have him"

The buzz is this guy is a real player. I know hungry is over-used but this guy is going to have a major point to prove.

Very, very happy to see this.

Assuming it all goes through now without a hitch, he's a really exciting signing. We mustn't expect too much from him, making that two division jump in one go, but you do get the feeling that he's going to scare a full back or two.

Perhaps someone can help me with Elliot Bennett's tag of being a right midfielder/winger. After seeing the youtube video of his goals posted in another thread virtually every one of his goals came from him starting in a central midfield role or from left of centre!!!

    Am I mising something?

Does Lambo see him as an alternative to Wes or someone in the Lansbury mould instead?

    Thoughts please fellow canaries...

I thought the same thing but I guess all his goals are long rangers, outside the box

That's the danger with YouTube videos, you don't get to see general play, build up play.

My understanding is his position is wide right

Well that's what I thought Beefy - so does that mean he drifts inside a lot or that he cannot score for toffee from wide on the right?

Whatever - In Lambo We Trust!

Ive been told by a BHA fan that hes right footed but can use his left just as well. He can play across the midfield R/L/C though his strongest position is AMR. He has in the past also dropped into RB if needed but does seem a bit shy in putting his foot in when playing there...

People go on about these players are not good enough cause they aint experianced etc etc etc but players need to start somewhere!

That's why I'm so enamoured with the prospect of a pacy, tricky width player.
After all, we've not been overly blessed with great wide players in recent years, apart from say Huckerby, Ruel Fox, Dale Gordon, errrrrm.....Lee Croft, anyone?

I rest my case ( although doubtless I've missed some - apologies, if so )

Hope it happens. He would be an excellent signing, and offer us something different to what we have!

reportedly is extremely quick which is a must for a wide man at premier level. i believe he topped bha's assist list so should be a great signing with our strike force. looks like four in, three to go-defence?
