We have scored just 4 goals in 8 PL games so far and again today we were second best according to reports. I don't want to criticise MH at the moment because he inherited the squad assembled by Pulis. I am concerned by our inability to find the net which could ultimately cost us our PL status. Let's hope there are a few worse teams than us this season.

I will give Hughes until until January transfer window because as you say he inherited the squad which has continued off more or less as it ended last season. The key problem being our frontline, but Coates has invested over 40 million into out strike force.................

Think we need some younger eager strikers, what we have isn't up to the job.

Do yourselves a favour and get Hughes out. I fear for you guys, i honestly do!

Do not make the same mistake we did with Hughes. Over to you.

    Good luck <ok>

    WOW!
A great performance vs Liverpool, outplayed the Shammers? Had TWO pens turned down vs Fulham?? ONE feckin bad game vs Norwich and we're going down????
Waddo and Smithers a right. Hughes can not make massive impact with what HE inherited. Give the guy a chance. Did very well at Citeh actually and was then told to F off because Mancinni came in?? Yes he F up at QPR but their players tbh didn't give a toss they we're payed and too well payed and did nothing.

Give the guy a chance for Christ's sake. We've played Pool, Gunners away and WON at west hame. Get a grip and get behind Hughes and the team.

You are of course correct BUT how much have you spent compared to Stoke City? Good luck like us you will need it.

    Well said Potts,

Our strikers hardly new what a ball looked like for years with the lack of service they got. Still think we need someone with some hunger up front but we are playing football and have deserved better results than we have got rather than being under the cosh for 80 minutes then nicking a result we didn't merit in the last 10. I am no longer dreading the result before a ball has been kicked, Mr Hughes has something to work with and is making progress in my eyes.

It could be far worse Jowler
We could have spent millions and Norwich have, Sunderland look fooked and Palace are just woefull. K T F one and all. Hughe's is not Pulis. Come Jan he WILL sort it mate because unlike Pulis he knows he has to buy a striker. And, I will never grasp WHY Jerome went out on loan? He one and only feck up in my book. Oh and playing Walters every week. Note he subbed super Jon AGAIN on Saturday. Should have played Wilson and Cameron will be back too!

    Potts,
It surprised me with Jerome as I always thought he has goals in him, probably why another teams wanted him. Judging by the Saturday line up I don't think Hughes thinks much of Crouch and Jones and that Walters is the lesser of evils as at least he runs about a bit which may create space for someone else to get a shot in. As you say we haven't spent a lot this season so if we can clear some out we should be able to get a hungry striker in. Still much happier than last season as we are playing football we are keeping the ball and we are creating chances, we can always put Jones and Crouch into a pantomime, Jack **** and the beanstalk springs to mind. <whistle>

I fully agree with the above mate.
This is just for the Norwich fan who seem's to think we're fooked some FACTS for him.

We've played Liverpool away should have got a pt but we NOT outplayed.
    Palace we beat 2-1
Arsenal simply outplayed us and we're not the only one's who have been.
Citeh we simply outplayed them but did not take our chance's.
West Ham we absolutely battered them and outplayed them.
Norwich we we're an utter shambles BUT fair play to them for wanting it far more than we did. We also had a cert pen turned down, that push on Jones but didn't deserve anything tbh.
Fulham, again always in the game, by far the better team. Denied 2 stonewall pens to boot. Give the ball away and they nick the pts.

When all said I am happy with 8 pts it could so easily have been 15 and I'm not joking.
Baggies... Just beaten Utd AWAY? And we only draw and everyone's having a go!

    Chins up lads <ok>
