Very impressed with your boys, I know Ramsey had a great pre-season but I never expected him to kick-on in the manner he has done! Football's a funny old game, how things have changed since the 3-1 loss to Villa, you're by far playing the best football in the league and you were a joy to watch yesterday. I think the real test will be the run of games after Palace, 2 home games against both us and Chelsea, then away to United.. If you take 6-9 points you could be well on your way to surprising a lot of people, some who still seem to be writing you off even though with almost a quarter of the season gone you've picked up more points than any other team, and have looked consistently good while doing it.
Yeah but Shearer said "ask me again in 6 games time ." He knows we have some tougher games coming up and he hold fire to see the outcome . The knobber Alan " fergie will never win anything with kids " Hansen , just said NO we COULD NOT win the league . I respect Shearers opinion . We all know what Hansens is worth .

But given that Shearer was claiming that Eto'o was in an offside position when Hazard scored the first goal, even though there was a defender close to the line making him YARDS onside, means his opinions on football should be taken with a pinch of salt. Embarrassing punditry.
the concept of my gripe is that Hansen is embarrassingly anti Arsenal . Shearer at least had an open mind .
I think you'll find that Shearer is correct. Eto was offside because the goalkeeper was in front southampton defender therefore i don't know the reason why but defender on line is not the point of reference for the offside line it's the keeper. If you get what i saying.

Correct - You need TWO players between you and the goal-line to be on-side. Usually, one of those is the goalkeeper, but if for some reason you are goal-side of the goalie then you need to have 2 defenders there, or you are offside.
Just watched the game. Very impressed firstly with Gibbs who was outstanding. Secondly with Wilshere who seemed much better than he has lately - though I think it was him who should have tracked the Norwich runner for their goal. Koscielny was very solid. Ozil & Ramsey looked excellent, Giroud had some lovely touches too. It was a little worrying how much things dropped off after Flamini had gone off. It took a while to find their rhythm again. That shows how important he is to the team at present in my opinion. Lovely to have such an experienced midfield three though - Ozil, Flamini, Arteta - huge experience guiding the team through games. Bendtner looked good when he came on too. A shame he didn't get much chance to shoot, but I'd like to see him coming on after 70 in more games that they're winning. Fantastic to see the crowd accept him back and cheer him too
if he could be half as good as he thinks he is then we would have a brilliant striker. he would be back up to Giroud as they are similar in style. we still need a Suerez type player, or maybe play Theo as striker - christ defenders would be ****ting themselves with Theo running on to ozil/ramsey/santi/jacks passes
