Too early for this for me. I'm an optimist and it's only October. plenty of time for others to freefall.
Just watched the game lads and to be fair we were ****ing woeful. Don't know why we fell apart like we did but, it happened and we are in a dogfight like it or not. Posted midweek that the players have seen out in some cases 3 managers and was asked by one of the lads if I thought they had tanked it on purpose and, I thought maybe not however after today I can't see any other reason other than the common denominator in there the players who I now believe to be tanking it the bunch of useless ****ing twats. This is not all players but the core of so called professional footballers who are neither professional nor footballers. Poyet has had 2 ish days to try and cobble together a team from the shower of ****e we have as players, so not blaming him just yet maybe after 5 games.
Talc. Blame Poyet after 5 games? Really? If I handed you the keys to a fiat 500, would you be to blame after 5 laps of a Grand Prix if you were still last? Poyet has the keys to our version of a Fiat 500 and has started the EPL Grand Prix in last position. A combination of Bruce, O'Neill and PDC have managed to flatten 2 of the tyres as well and nothing can be laid at the new managers door. Ferguson, Mourinho or Guardiola wouldn't change our fortunes given the useless twats we have as players. We have the stench of relegation all over us and although I thought we could escape, that 2nd half capitulation against a very average Swansea team, has changed my mind. I fear a points tally of less than 15 now seriously and by the time January comes, nobody of any use will want to come here anyway. We are ****ed and none of its Poyets fault.
Joke mate, unlike our owners I wouldn't sack anyone after 5 games he has to be given time and money both of which I can't see. A lot of people seem to be either burying their heads in the sand and hoping for the best, not sure why as all the signs we see now we have seen before during relegation seasons. Call it blind faith optimism whatever the sooner we realise we are fighting for our PL lives the better. As for your Fiat 500 argument no good to me mate wouldn't fit into the thing I'd look like a gorilla on a go cart.
Think we are aware we are in a dogfight kidda. We have been for several weeks now, well before PDC was peddled. As for the fiat analogy, I have a great mental picture of you now. Lol
It's too early to call it like that. If you beat us that could be a springboard to scoop up some much needed points. If you lose next week then it could have quite a detrimental effect on both, Team and fan morale.
