Millwall away. It was a huge game, we needed the three points and by all accounts it was our best away performance of the season. Good football, solid at the back and a clean sheet to boot, in a game at the business end of the season where every point mattered.

The 0-0 draw against Forest, Really showed that we could work as a unit and pull through

Id say Cardiff away - many people forget that game in the hype of our promotion. We dominated them and deserved the win really good away performance

    (Done mention the home leg)

I have to agree with this. We played well in the second leg but i honestly think this result is what won us the play-offs. Away (where we werent our best) against arguable the in form team AND going down to 10 after a minute we pulled together and even could have won it!!!

Bar this game though i think easily the Leeds or Norwich home games. Cameras, full house, everyone expecting a close(ish) games and we hammered the both of them!!!

Our 3-0 drubbing of Leeds for me it was the first of a tough run in at home with Forest and Norwich to come and the way we dispatched of them and after that performance i truly believed we were PL quality.

100% with you Jamie . At the 2 minute mark of the 1st leg against Forest , I knew we weren't going to make it to the Premier League . After 90 minutes , I knew we would . A very special feeling , one can only imagine how the players felt when the final whistle blew .

Simple answer to this one - The 0-0 up at Forest. When I saw the red card coming out of the ref's pocket I turned to the missus and said game and tie over, championship for us next year.
When the whistle blew, It felt like one of my family had been playing, I was that proud of the lads. I knew from that moment that we would make the PL.

    I have to agree.
There were many fantastic performances where we were completey dominant, however Forest first leg will go down as legendary. We will always compare that against future Swansea teams for our dominance, grit and desire in the face of adversity and when it really mattered.... something that will bring tears to the eyes, and stories of yesteryear to us all in the years to come.:emoticon-0178-rock:

For the pure defensive of a game it must be the forest away game in the playoffs, for the opposite attacking game the 3-0 game against Leeds, that was the best game I have seen the swans play in many a year, can't remember putting a foot wrong, it was total domination !

    1. Forest away - This was a game that had everything, and meant everything. Superb performance. Tthis game won us the tie. Psychologically it was massive.

    2. Millwall away - Utterly dominant at one of the toughest grounds in the Championship. I've got a few Millwall mates and to this day they still say that we were easily the best team they played all season.

    3. Leeds home - Dominated a team that was challenging for promotion and scoring for fun, we played some quality penetrative football that day. This was the game that really got people talking about the Swans as one of the top teams in the division.

    * The most enjoyable game was Forest home - Just for pure emotion and drama. There were massive highs when we were two up, crowd going mental. Then they got a goal back and hit everything but the back of the net, crowd nervous as hell. The Pratley banged in that curler from the halfway line and the Liberty erupted. That's a game I'll never forget. I was more nervous before that game than I was for the final. Couldn't understand it.

Yea same as everyone - Forest away. My status on fb was I have never been more proud to be a Swansea fan.
An incredible performance which will go down in history.

Yea I was at the Milwall game, very very good!

preston 4-0 was pretty good, allthough they should have scored a few...We could have scored a few more
    2-3 win over Watford
Oh the palace away game. Was at that one as well. 0-3, we were incredible!

We've had a decent london return this season

    palace, watford QP........Oh

Also, who could forget a game which changed our season....A point to the person who gets it first!

For me it there are two games that stand out, as everybody has all ready mentioned.
The 0-0 semi final first leg against Forest was a performance of pure grit and determination, once Taylor went off I thought that was it. Couldn't belive we kept a clean sheet.
Leeds at home, well we gave them a footballing lesson that I hope we can repeat in The Premier League.

    PGF takes the prize!
What a game! I was in the sports bar, and they had sky sports news on...I was boring my friends (who weren't into football really) about how the Swans were doing badly up at boro, and then when that last beattie goal came on skysports news! I hit the roof!

As Johnny Toshack said 'the Swans performance with 10 men at Forest was one of the proudest in Swansea's history'
What can you say...guts,technique, hard work and an incredible team/group spirit. Brendan asked for steel with the football..and by god he saw it there.

RhysJ1 - another important match was the 0-0 away to Portsmouth. It steadied the boat after a few defeats and we then went on a bit of a run till the end of the season ;)
