Davies Livermore Faye *Was pretty much at ground level - so maybe didn't fully appreciate all performances.
Davies Faye Figgy Much as its great to see a forward score a goal, Sagbo, We got battered second half because Sagbo couldnt be a target man and show for and hold up the ball. Gareth Barry's a **** by the way.. It really really annoys me when there's no retribution for a deliberate kicking on one of our players. Bad foul on Graham no retribution. Man up City FFS.
1. Davies by a mile - Lukaku didn't get anything from him apart from the one early mistake. Constantly improved. 2. Aluko just for the assist 3. Figueroa Are we all just voting Sagbo because he scored? Good finish but as Chazz said he didn't do much else and no one replaced him up front when he drifted wide.
It was hard to judge a player like Livermore on Tv Lammy. Disappointed me to be honest, him and Hudd, not physical enough with them. Dont get the full picture on TV
Davies Livermore Figueroa I thought Davies stood out as something special again, Lukaku got no change from him. I don't see what others did with Faye he let a few players run rings round him at times. Livermore was very good, all over the place and Figueroa impressed me. We couldn't hold the ball in the second half, but we had no width as Elmo and Brady where very ineffectual.
So you give second place to Aluko, just for the assist, but then criticise others for placing Sagbo just because he scored????? Strange.
Missed the last ten minutes, but thought like others Davies was outstanding. Also impressed with Sagbo, took his goal well, never wastes a pass (done this in other games as well and had a pass success rate of 85% in this game). Regardless of the outcome of Grahams injury deserves a start against Spurs. Also like what I saw of Livermore like everyone else. But impressed with Huddlestone again.
On a different thread another pundit used the same expression about Davies and Lukaku. One of you must be talking not so great.
They took it in turns. Curtis had him in his pocket, then he took him out and kindly handed him over to Big Abdoulaye and he put him in his pocket. Bottom line our defence made one of the hottest scorers in the Premier League look shyte.
I thought Livermore was fantastic yesterday, he made a lot of important interceptions and worked tirelessly all game(and there was plenty to do with all the possession they had). Huddlestone was good, but misplaced far more passes than normal.
