This is a tricky one, my dad was from Crewe... City 6 - 4 Crewe Jet (2), Harewood, Wagstaff, Reid, OG
Crewe 1-0 City. Sorry if we continue to play our possession/passing game between our back four and midfield we will eventually make a mistake and give a goal away. Against WW we had a corner and the ball ended up back with Fielding, how will we score goals to win matches if we aren't a threat in the opposing penalty area. we need to play our possession/passing game further up the field in this division. The fans don`t like the tactics and the players don`t appear comfortable with them. For god sake put Taylor up front (if fit) to play the lone striker role if we have to, at least he will win the ball and lay it off. Really hope I`m wrong! 10
Crewe 1 City 5 Baldock 2, JET, Wagstaff, Reid wish they would make up their minds who is fit. went past Crewe yesterday and Monday
Well well, the pressure is even more on SOD now after Crewe went to PNE and unexpectedly won 2-0 yesterday If we lose at Crewe next week, which is a distinct possibility, then it ought to be bye bye SOD.
I remember when we were in the championship 1998-1999, we started off the season in a similar manner to this. Our first win of the season came at Home to Crewe 5-2. First of all I thought, good omen here, but we still went on to get relegated. We were home and not away, so a win anything other than 5-2 is fine by me!
