Have a few which would be worth a couple of bob if they were in mint condition but i used to play them all the time so the slevves have coffee cup marks and the records are scratched. Still, great rainy Sunday afternoon memories so that will do. Maybe it has much to do with the passing of time but i still don't think much could beat the thrill of waiting for one of your favourite bands to bring out a new album and the excitment of putting it on for the first time.
Yeah that's the thing isn't it Dan you were so into the music you just kept playing them. Nobody at that age would think these things would be worth money. Personally I'd rather have the music than the dosh. Here's EMI's take on the most valuable records of all time. At college, my mate's bird went in my room and "borrowed" my 5 Ozric Tentacles cassette only albums, when I eventually got 4 of them back she said she'd lost one of them. To be fair, she was a scrounging, thieving ****.
I will stick with the digital age, got sick to death of scratched or warped records, also how can you download them off pirate bay
