Just tweeted apparently saying “Injury yesterday maybe 5 weeks off #YNWA”

Not great is it? This certainly wont help him get used to the Prem however the season is long and hopefully he'll be back before 5 weeks

He tore his thigh muscle, although there were rumours on Twitter that he had ruptured his rectum! LOL.

Perhaps he's always been injured, it would explain a lot.

Perhaps if he'd score a few more goals Rodgers wouldn't rupture his rectum.

That's a warning Suarez... keep up the good form... or else...

One less option now to rest attacking players. Asp as is far from our top player but it means less resting players when we're ahead... so still bad.

He's only played a handful of games so I won't judge him. Don't think he's that bad, but not for the starting 11 for sure. Hopefully this injury will spur him to train harder (not in the injure himself way).

An injured, inefficient Aspas is still better than Downing <ok>

Oh dear, afraid he's another one for the scrap heap. Nothing against the lad, but let's face the fact he's not gonna progress us as a team. But at least he's better than gobshite Downing

I hope not but it's afamiliar story to Borini: bit of bad luck with injury, no momentum gained in PL and knocked back mentally because of it.

Weirdly though I think it will take the pressure that was building off. No chance of replacing the other two while in form so injury will be a better reason he's not playing and if either drops form as he gets back he can almost start fresh.

That's our depth up front gone. Hope we don't regret loaning Borini.

  15. Could take a bit of pressure of. Being out injured means people won't expect anything from him whilst he's out (obviously) or immediately on his return as he will need to rebuild his match fitness. Could buy him some time like it did for Borini <ok>

He should recalled tbh, Sunderland are consisting with Altidore and when Fletcher gets back that will make him third choice. I rather he be third choice at our club than third choice at Sunderland.

I'd give Ebay a run of games before either Aspas or Borini. Borini can't even get in the Blunderland team which says it all about how he's adapted to Prem footy.

Touching wood right now, but what happens if one of SAS gets injured now as well? What options do we have, Morgan?
