But how tall is he? I'm all for pacey CB's but not at the expense of height. Still he may get moved around again, could end up back at LB or LDM.

Saints have very strange tape measures....Isgrove is 5'10 apparently...yet Mauricio at 6 ft had to duck to get in the same picture when he signed his contract.
Luke had signed a pro-contract (which you can do if countersigned by a parent/guardian), but you have to be eighteen to sign a full contract in your own right.
No way is Isgrove 5'10". At the Bristol match he looked 5'5" at best. Mind you he looked threating on the break.
I guess the coverage has more to do with our more sizeable media/social budget. Does anyone know if Chelsea wanted to keep him? I'm not naive enough to think they wanted to keep him at all costs or he would still be there but I wonder if they were expecting to hold on to him and he decided to switch because of the prospect of first team football. Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I accepted Isgrove was 5' 10" several weeks ago, but only because, according to Saints, Tadanari Lee is 6' 0", which just seems mad to me, and it turned upside down all my height perceptions of Saints players. I believe anything now.

It's hard to tell just how tall players are when you're watching either on the telly or from the stands. Lallana always looks small, yet he's 5'8? I guess Clyne is about the same height. That's average in my books. Shaw looks like a big boy, not tall but broad. Yoshida and Fonte look gangly, Lovren's a big chap. How tall is JWP? He looks small too me.
