Well-respected football journalist David Conn appeared on Talk Sport on Sunday 13 October, and took time to talk about the ârebrandingâ at both Hull City and Cardiff City. His verdict on âHull Tigersâ? Pretty scathing. Last year, Conn came fourth in a poll to decide the best sports journalist in the country, voted for by the readers of trade journal Press Gazette. Weâre delighted to have a writer of his caliber on our side. You can listen to the relevant section of the show below... https://soundcloud.com/johnny-yen-4/david-conn-on-talk-sport

There'll be a few kicking about at Everton, but only a small sample batch have been produced so far, there's another 7-800 being delivered next week(I believe). We've got an etail addition to go up on the website, with PayPal, so they should go live next week. Assuming we get a Pedlars License sorted, they should be for sale outside the West Park gates(possibly also Walton Street) for the Sunderland game.
Andy Burnham is widely respected former cabinet minister who has a deep passion for football and is a top man to have on your side. Karl Turner MP who threw his full weight behind Hull City football Club during the Huddersfield debacle is a two bob ****wit who knows nothing about football. There is a good career to be had going forward for genuine football loving politicians and Andy Burnham may one day be prime minister. Karl Turner should keep his nose out of such matters IMO or else he may end up looking foolish and end up on the back benches forever. Too political?
As for Andy Burnham being future PM - what nonsense, he came 3rd in the last Labour leadership election. Just because a MP supports a particular pov does not make him well respected
Does Andy Burnham know that the rugby season is finished and there will be no Hull fans at Goodison. Or do we have Hull fans campaigning to become Hull City?
Andy Burnham didn't write the tweet, he just retweeted it from an Everton fan group(and they've only got 140 characters to work with).
While it bugs me when City fans refer to the club as 'Hull' - particularly on our own forums, I've no problem at all with people from other parts of the country calling us that.
Or to paraphrase - if you agree with me your great, if you don't your ****. Burnham has lost his shadow cabinet role!
Wasnt it David Conn who dug deep into the dealings of our previous owners, exposing the criminal activity (I think they were charged, I retract that if wrong) of Buchanan and Hinchcliffe? At the time the HDM swallowed more than your average porn star, it was a disgrace.
