Yes [or should that be no they didn't] People who make unsubstantiated claims like that are the very people who spread rumours - it's so easy to find out the facts, why make stuff up?
Think you will find out most of them using it are Jews,so are they offending themselves?yiddist is a language,so how is that offensive?
Prove it totsfan? It's seen as a religious hate term and those of the Jewish faith that find it offensive have the law on their side whether 'most' Jewish Spurs fans like it or not.
I don't see why a non Jewish supporter would call themselves a "yid" anyway but it seems many non Jewish Spurs fans do. They use it as a badge of honour when they are not Jewish which makes no sense
Whatever. Just can't be arsed to restart some Long winded boring tedious 'debate' that leads nowhere. Each side brings its own evidence, arguments and experts. In the end no one convinces the other. Today is Donga's Christmas. He is having a great time talking about his favourite subject. Despite his long winded arguments he does not convince. But good luck to him
The ****ing FA didn't! No-one is trying to convince you anyway, soft lad. And no-one can remotely accuse you of boring us with any facts from the case(s).
And lied giving evidence about how even repeating the word offended him. (just being consistent for you there,, Smithy ).
Would have been comedy gold if the FA had charged Evra with racially offending himself!! but according to the letter of the law
Just been having the same 'argument' on the manc board and matth is convinced the vid of Evra racially abusing himself is fake.
You are the greatest legal brain in Britain. As I said just can't be arsed rehashing the same arguments about racism which have been debated at length here and on other boards. Thank Roy for providing you with an early Christmas
Been there and had that argument (before they banned me). It's from a French documentary before the 2004 semi between Monaco (Evra's then team) and Chelsea. Apparently many French people who'd viewed it attempted to alert Commoli before the hearing, but either he didn't tell McCormack, or they just decided it was irrelevant as there was no real evidence against Luis anyway (naïve incompetent arseholes). Nonetheless, there is evidence in if for charging Evra with lying to an FA commission AND, by the standards they set themselves into the preamble of the 115 page report, to charge him with breaking E(92) - whether his intention was to offend or not. And this I adore:- http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/oct/17/roy-hodgson-fa-monkey-joke So Piara Powar reckons you must make special precautions not to make simian comments in 'diverse' company. Do any black people, apart from the professionally offended, need this protection?
I certainly thank KIO. And you don't have to be 'the greatest legal brain in Britain" to drive a bus through the FA's kangaroo court, buster.
http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/clubs/liverpool/article3277344.ece This being the same Lord ousley, btw, who said the FA shouldn't have charged Rio for repeated a racial slur about Cole on the basis that Rio is black too (as did Piara Powar over the Paul Elliott scndal). Begs the question - is it alright for some players to make simian jokes in 'diverse' company, and if so, would that be based upon the colour of their skin? What percentage of their skin colour would qualify them for exemption?
Although this is as pathetic an attempt to grandstand as they've tried before, it doesn't surprise me that KIO are involved, getting in the papers and on TV generates cash. The Spurs fans bein garrested for what is basically racially abusing themselves, is farcial in the extreme, and I do hope the relevant authorities start going around arresting every person using the N word as I think I've decided to be offended by people calling themselves it.
