Really looking forward to seeing FLEMENSON tomorrow who by all accounts could be extremely useful. My "advice" for tomorrow though is to be on ALWAYSTHEOPTIMIST 3.20 WINCANTON 5-1. If Charlie Longsdon is fast becoming the forums favourite trainer then his number two apprentice will very soon be the forums favourite claimer. Charlie Deutsch takes over tomorrow to negate the seven pound penalty incurred for a facile victory at Ludlow last week when partnered by Sam Twiston-Davies. He won by seven lengths but that could have been a distance. Tomorrows race is slightly more competitive but he looks to be on a ridiculous mark at the moment and similar conditions prevail tomorrow. I don't know what is in the feed or air around Chipping Norton at the moment but Mulholland is in similar form to his neighbour and should be followed accordingly. Fehily has a couple of rides for him also tomorrow but its Deutsch's mount that takes my eye!
Done a wee trixie on three shorties at Uttoxeter tomorrow: 2.00 Herod The Great 2.30 Chalk It Down 3.30 Flemenson Will also have a small dablle on stick's
Morning all sutton sid looks to have a good chance at 9s some 13lbs lighter than fav compton bird, their last outing compton won by 5 lengths but was 2lbs lightrr that day . So with a 15lbs swing and cosgrove back onboard they look to have a good chance of reversing the result that was at this track under similar conditions Good luck all
Iberis looks good odds with quelly onboard last 5 runs were bad 2 on allweather at 7f and 3 at 8f i think 7f on grass is optimum iberis didnt look g9od on allweather and 8f was to much so a gamble will be taken on him today to return to the enclosure under similar conditions to his last win i will be having a small patent aswell with the man of the moments pick good luck all
not sure what is going on with the website--but Minellaforlunch is an interesting runner in an interesting race 3 30 utt--travelling well in Creepy's race, this one slipped up on the dodgy bend-- winners already come out of the race--am going to watch with great interest !
Morning, troops. Hope everyone well. Stickers, that Flemenson cost a cool 190,000 gns so connections will be severely displeased if he ain’t. I see that the horse named after me runs in the card commencer at Winkers this afternoon (2.20) but I won’t be recommending him to the regular readers on what is his seasonal bow. In saying that though there will be worse 20/1 shots than this old boy running this term. 112 is not an unreasonable perch especially when you consider that in the last campaign he was beaten just 4.75 by Chatterbox (off levels) and 4.5 lengths by My Tent or Yours (when receiving 5 lbs). Those 2 are now rated 143 and 160 respectively! I wouldn’t though put anyone off a speculative each-way wager on Midnight Request (2.30 Uttoxeter) at current odds of 40/1. Midnight Request’s dam was a winner over both fences and hurdles whilst the family clearly contains much ability as the dam is a half-sister to Salubrious who won at this year’s Cheltenham Festival! He’s trained by Tom Symonds, the forum’s favourite fledgling trainer, who was of course himself tutored to perfection by Mr Henderson, the bastion of our sport. Another plus is that dear old Tom is in fine form as he’s already had a winner, from 2 runners, this week. You do have to take Midnight Request’s fitness on trust but I think 40/1 is far, far too big. Good luck, one and all.
Do i not like that... Said Graham Taylor many years ago, well when you click onto the Daily Thread and see the Stickler has already put one up in a race you fancy then you tend to say that, dont you... Anyway i do have a fancy in the same race as the opening thread indicates and its Minella Definitely, of which i got on earlier at 10/1, it is showing at 7/1 currently... He is one that ive had in my tracker for a little while now, i tipped it to place against a 1/5 ride of AP a bit back and low and behold it turned him over, so ive stuck with him since. Didnt go with much heart lto in the PadPow Imperial Cup, back in March, and this is the 1st run since. This is a drop in class for him, has CD to his name and has a jockey in form at the moment in the plate, Noel Fehily, who recently won on a Longdsons runner the other day, Grandads Horse... So lets hope he can spread the love around elsewhere than the current forums favourite trainer and oblige me here today... Good luck to all...
Very interested to see how 2.45 Punchestown Oscar's Passion 100/1 goes on her hurdling debut with the very shrewd Harry Kelly pitching her into Grade 3 company on her first start over timber. I'm only having a tiny bet as she faces an extremely tough task and she is more than likely going to be outclassed but I think she is a better horse than the bare form of her bumper runs and off a low weight I'm hoping she can run respectably.
don't normal post and normally just ghost the board and see what's happening, but stick, outstanding tips like normal today, had them both as single and a double. thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, and the others who also contribute to the forum.
