Never in a million years has Roy Hodgson got a racist bone in his body, this joke has nothing to do with racism, and would think that he didn't for one second relate it to racism, he's not the kind.

Did you actually read my comment? There isn't a weasel. The story claims someone (obviously not Townsend) was offended by it. Without the full context of the joke I think I'd have been alarmed at Townsend being called a monkey by Hodgson.

Hoppers they have to keep coming out with this drivel in order to justify their huge salaries! There are far too many people in this country who make an absolute fortune out of being outraged on behalf of other people! There are still serious issues regarding race relations but to turn this incident into a huge story simply trivialises what is a serious subject! Stan Collymore got it spot on in my opinion! Interesting also to note that one Spurs fan was arrested for using the Y word and yet not one single West Ham supporter was arrested for using the N word!
