You don't become a bad player over night. The kid has talent to burn, he is an international player, hopefully Poyet will remind of the form he was in to get him into the England Squad again. If he has ambition he will rise to the challenge. As for Flo....words fails me...complete waste of DNA

if he plays for england again it will be a modern day miracle, not only is he failing to show any form ,he is with a ne club who are bottom, im afraid he will have to watch it on the telly with the rest of us.
He was on the pi$$ with Downing last Fri night in Boro, they were both smashed. Thats fair enough he didnt have a game, i just hope its not somthing he makes a habit of! I wouldnt normally mention this if it was any other player, but when we signed him we were warned off City fans he was often seen in Manchester pi$$ed up.
Poyet may be the fella to get the most out of him. I've always rated the lad to be honest and as someone said abive, you don't become a bad player over night.
and it really helps him when we have fans like you sniping at every opportunity...maybe you might give him some support as a new manager will try and restore his form and confidence, the last thing he will need is constant negativity
No but because he is mentioned as a flop it just shows why we are in such a pathetic mess that we are in. Just because he doesn't score 35 goals a game and skin everyone he is deemed as **** by a section of our fans. Until we get real with ourselves we will always feel pain and disappointment. When you analyse it, Johnson is playing average in a below average team so in that sense he is playing well.
He has been nowhere near the dizzy heights of average he has been dreadful in a team that has been dreadful. There is only really giacherrini, cattermole, celuksta and fletcher who can say they played well. I think we should simply leave him out as he's a luxury player who sets up attacks for the opposition.
