Although we all knew it was coming, I was still shocked when I got to work this morning and heard the news that Liverpools bid for Jordan had been accepted by the club. I sat in my office this morning and read through all of the threads regarding Jordans move and deliberately refrained from any comment, because like you guys, my emotions were running high. I've had all day to reflect on the days events and admit that I wanted him to stay, but he's gone and there is nothing that any of us can do about it. All we can do is vent our frustrations or express our agreement on his transfer to Liverpool. As for me, I just want to wish Jordan the very best of luck , I hope he goes on to be an England great and thank him for the memories. Jordan Henderson' transfer has split us 50/50 in the same manner as Steve Bruce' performance split us 50/50. One thing that will never split us is our loyalty to Sunderland AFC. The name "Jordan Henderson" is now embedded in the history of our great club and we move on....
