Basically each week the players who've played the best get a team of the week card, which is like an upgraded version of their normal cards, and this is the first time a City players got one in years that I can remember.
I know it's your opinion, hence why I said my opinion. I get bored playing the computer, its so predictable.
Start playing as someone other than the big teams and on legendary difficulty, then see if it's 'predictable'...
I very rarely play as the big teams. Yes it's difficult, but once you get down the style, you make the computer play a certain way.
I love Ultimate Team. It's so simple to understand, though it's not well explained by the game at all so people look at it and just get confused. You basically create a team, of whatever players you want (though you do have money to spend so you can't just have a dream team straight away). If they're the same nationality, or from the same League, they have better Chemistry which allows them to play better together. i.e. you could have a full Brazilian team and have 100% chemistry or players from random League's with random Nationalities and the Chemistry might only be 23% and they'd make a lot of mistakes. The Team of the Week players (TOTW), AKA In-Forms, are upgraded versions of the original player, for example, Figueroa is normally a 75 overall Gold Card, but his TOTW card is 77. TOTW players are easily noticeable from their unique 'black card' (no not the Nando's card thing). If the 'card' thing is confusing, it's because each player has a particular standard (Bronze, Silver or Gold) depending on their overall. Bronze players are 64 overall or under, Silver players are 65-74 overall, and Golds are 75 and above. You can open packs which contain players, contracts, morale boosts, attribute boosts etc. in order to help get the best team possible. You earn coins from trading the players with other people, or obviously, by playing matches. You can play Single player matches (against the AI) or Online matches against other people's Ultimate Team's and attempt to win Tournaments, just a regular one-on-one game or attempt to get Promoted through 10 divisions. It's a great game-mode. I have a Bundesliga team which is as follows: Formation (4-5-1) GK: Neuer (Bayern) RB: Piszczek (Dortmund) CB: Hummels (Dortmund) CB: Dante (Bayern) LB: Alaba (Bayern) CDM: Schweinsteiger (Bayern) RM: Robben (Bayern) CAM: Gotze (Bayern) CAM: Reus (Dortmund) LM: Ribéry (Bayern) ST: Lewandowski (Dortmund) This gets me a 100% Chemistry as it's s Bundesliga team. With the added chemistry between the Germans & Poles.
