Pleasantly surprised how calmly everyone is taking Boruc's INJURY. Some fans might panic if they discovered their first choice goalkeeper was INJURED just before playing ManU, but not606ers are calm about Artur's INJURY. Only a thigh strain...let's all remain calm
Supposed to be a strain rather than a tear, but can't be too careful. Bet Saints physios are eager to assess him. Sorry to introduce panic, but why should I suffer alone
Calm down dear as someone famously once said. You are not meant to get over anxious or highly stressed with that angina. Now sit in a chair and breath quietly and deeply. Close your eyes and imagine you are sitting in a deck chair on your favourite beach. The sun is beating down gently on your face and you can hear the soft ripple of the waves. Some children are happily laughing and giggling as they play near by. In your hand is a glass of you favourite tipple mixed just as you like it. You lift the glass to your lips and take a sip as you remember many happy childhood moments of your own. Someone is thoughtfully massaging you shoulders and as you tilt your head back so a comb carefully tidies your hair. You close your eyes and feel totally relaxed as a feeling of total peacefulness and calm descends upon you. I hope that worked. Now don't worry it is all going to be fine.
My son (who strangely seems to be trying to keep me alive) wants to ban alcohol, any food that is remotely tasty, and watching football. I can apparently watch reruns of Peppa Pig, but nothing remotely exciting. The Roadrunner is out. Luckily he has to go out sometimes
We will have to wait and see because Poland couldn't qualify it was basically a friendly for them. So hopefully this ment they would not want to risk anyone who had a potential injury and make it worse.
I heard he has a slight thigh strain.....could have played if required.....So nothing too serious Fran.....He says speaking from Aussie. Info passed to me in a pub by some Polish nationals.......So it is bound to be cosher.........
We still have Kelvin Davis. You know, the guy who saved a penalty from Van Persie last season. The guy who lost his place after playing behind a very wobbly defence last year.
Sure, the penalties weren't great, but in what sense were they not good saves? Ball was kept out of the net wasn't it?
Davis is good until he has to dive to his left or right.... Good shot stopper but his reactions when diving have slowed a lot.
