Hello all. Three I like the look of tomorrow are 3.00 Newcastle - Gosforth Park 10/1 I think its more than chance, newcastle racecourse is on gosforth park. The horse itself goes well on soft and if it keeps raining as it is it should be soft. 7.40 Gabrials Gift 10/1 Nice price and Mr S de Souza on board 8.40 Kempton - Fairy Mist 10/1 Got a soft spot for this one after it helped me to a nice earner when winning at 25/1 last year. Also has Mr R Hughes on board.
LOUDMOUTH 3.50 Huntingdon 2-1 but cannot see that price lasting long. Fine stamp of a horse and will improve bundles on what he has already done. With the yard in such good form it has to be backed!
What of the other Longsdon horses? Well NO NO CHARLIE is coming back from injury and is a fragile sort so probably not one to put too much faith in. STRONGBOWS LEGEND will run his usual gutsy race but I think he has enough on his plate at the weights to give him a swerve. Tempted by the Gordon/McCoy partnership but ducking the race completely. DOM LUKKA's race looks far to competitive to get involved in and I like Go Amwell so will give that race a miss and then there is the bumper. WADSWICK COURT is a nice sort and as is often the case he was unable to shoulder a penalty in his second bumper race. Charlie Deutsch rides tomorrow and you wont find a better ten pound claimer anywhere in the country but I just cant ignore the form of PURPLE BAY. 6/4 on the tissue and if the Aintree Festival bumper fifth is available at that price then surely he has to be backed.
I'll take stick's and 3 of mine for a nice yankee at Huntingdon: 2.50 Nouailhas 3.20 Beachfire 3.50 Loudmouth 5.20 Purple Bay
Hello Lads. The 3.15 at The Curragh is a most compelling event for a Tuesday afternoon. Some beautiful pedigree's being tested.
As the NH season is nearly soon us, I thought I'd have a bet for the first time since the pinchestown festival, all at Huntington. 2.20 Mr.lando ( waynes hutchinsons only ride ) 12/1 2.50 plum pudding 5/1 think should be well up to winning this. 3.50 Brady 8/1 cheekpieces to help oncentrate on the jumping, with a clear round of jumping shouldn't b far away. 4.20 milans well 14/1 has had a recent run to blow cobwebs away, and now should be right for a bold run. All BOG , best of luck those having a bet today
The one that stands out to me by a mile is Prudent Approach, sister to Dawn Approach, seems to be a bit of a word about for her, was in the Moyglare till quite late, make of that what you will. If there is any fire at all behind the smoke then she should be beating Sparrow, Zaindera and Golden Amber over 6 furlongs. Must be about 5/2 or 11/4 about tomorrow, if there is I will be on. If the money comes, i will go in large.

Morning, team. Hope everyone well. Good, good. My regular readers will recall me eulogising about old Purple Bay, last term, before he even ran and then tipping him for the ‘Bumper’ at the Festival. He ran very creditably their and then up at Aintree (finished 5th and 4th respectively). However, although I think he’ll run another corker today I won’t be wading into the old ‘betting jungle’ to support him as I think Evens, 10/11 in places, is very poor odds given that the old boy has to give weight all round and is running against a couple of proven sorts with fair form and another couple of ‘unknowns’ who potentially could be better than average. I also think that Purple Bay could be a better beast over a further half a mile. Don’t get me wrong if someone held a gun to my head I’d say that Purple Bay will win but because of the, in my view, stingy quote it’s a watching brief re him today. Stopping to reflect on Saturday’s ‘Ces’ for a moment didn’t the Lieutenant do the forum proud?!? A very honourable 3rd and if we pause to reflect on the draw positions of the first 5 home we will see that in finishing order they were 18-6-32-1-7. Only one other horse drawn 30+ got in the first 20 so when all things are considered Mr Henderson’s beast ran a stormer. And if the ‘draw Gods’ had been kinder...well I think we all know what would have happened. If he stays sound the old boys next run maybe in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham’s ‘Open’ meeting. Don’t forget he has a ridiculously low perch over timber so it’s a case of nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more! Good luck all.
3.50 Brady 11/1 EW A tough little novice handicap in which quite a few look well weighted, but it's Brady who catches the eye. He was classy over hurdles, being rated 130 before going chasing. He has been poor so far over fences but interestingly he looks in need of headgear and that is what he gets today. First handicap off a lowly mark with headgear on. 11/1 is a steal.
Cant believe barney didmt mention Makari good win by him there have him in a double with ur selección stick so fingers crossed!
